A box to show I treasure our friendship ♥

Hi there lovelys ♥
We are invited to celebrate the new year at one of my bestest friends house, Lena and her husband Walter. We are looking forward to an evening with excellent food, good drinks and spending time with loving friends. I wanted to make her something special. I browsed the internet after a tutorial or template that would fit my idea for a chocolate box but I didn´t find one so I made it from scratch..it´s the first thing I´ve seen in my imagination that I managed to make in reality and feel proud of! I think it turned out wonderful because it´s made with all my love. ;)
The patterned papers are from Websters Pages Hollywood collection. The image comes from Lily of the valley and I think this bear is sooo cute. I chose him because Lena adores teddybears. :) I think she´ll like him :)
Over at Lily of the valley challenges the want us to create something that represents a new beginning this week. I´m entering this box :) Even if you don´t want to enter you should head on over anyway. The dt has made some very stunning cards for our inspiration. Beautiful I promise you that.

Before I´m off I´d like to tell you all some great news. Katharina at Whiff of joy has a new collection of amazingly cute rubberstamps and dies out tomorrow! Don´t forget to check it out ;)

HAPPY NEW YEAR! I wish you all the best for 2011 and may all your goals and dreams come true.

I´ve been bitten by the LOTV bug...Look at this adorable teddybear!  :) The circular sentiment is also from Lily of the valley.

Flowers from Wild Orchid crafts and Magnolia. The dragonfly is made with die from Magnolia. I applicated some stickles "Star dust" on it. The bling and pin is also from Magnolia.

Hard to see the sentiment? It´s from Motivet rubberstamps and says: "Friends are like flowers that bloom all year long". The borderdie comes from Magnolia and is called "swedish lace". Love it!

To finish off  todays posting I just had to show you my new personal stamp. Bought it from Whimsy stamps a few weeks ago. The photo is a bit "blurry" unfortunatly but you get the picture ;) I´m so happy I decided to click the buy button ;)

My top 10 cards 2010

I listed my top 10 cards last year on my first crafting blog and I like the thought behind that and wanted to do it again this year. I got an invite via Facebook to upload my link to Suzi`s blog between 28-29 dec. I know a lot of other crafters I admire will do the same. After everyone has linked we can have a blog hop and enjoy lot´s of talant and beautiful cards! Why don´t you do the same!?

Well...I´m aware this isn´t a card..:o I hope you don´t mind me posting this deep edge canvas frame too though. I looove this pic of my daughter and made this for my parents. Love how I ended up arraging the gorgoeus flowers :)

Made this card for my friends wedding in august. It was a beautiful day and my friend married her prince
There aint nothing quite like true love ;)

I made this handbag for my first dt moms, Millan and Marie as a thank you for everything. I think this is one of my absolute fav Tildas. She´s so cute :)

I made this card directly after coming home from Borås and Magnolias grand reopening in october. Remembering I was pretty alone with this cutie - for a day or two. Great feeling ;) I won top 3 at Sketchy colors with this card.

One of my first cards as a dt at Whiff of joy challenges. I used a lot of favourite things on this card. In my mind this patterned paper is the queen of all. Comes from Prima, of course. The collection is called Fairy flora. I chose my favourite stamp too, Musing Melinda. She´s such a stunner!

I made this giftset for my father on his 60:th birthday. An altered album and matching card. The stamp comes from Magnolia. Patterned papers from Tim Holtz. Love those - too ;)

I choose this card because it´s my very fist Halloween card and the colorcombo is so not like me. Dispate that I like the way it turned out in the end :)

I seem to have done a lot of thing for my father this year ;) He got this altered paper bag as a gift on Fathers day. After all, he is the greatest dad The stamped image is called "Henri hugging heart" also from Whiff of joy :)

Little flying Tilda is a real cutie and a lot of fun inking! She suits perfect in to this nestie. My first joy fold card. This Tilda is so veristale, you can use her for almost any occasion :) Good buy ;)

Last but not least! Made this just a few days ago! I was so tired of making chrissy cards and wanted to do a spring card. It´s a favourite because it´s my very first card with a LOTV image.

Mrsweyremaster

Totally Tilda #12: Easelcard with Tilda

Morning everyone :)
I have to make this post a quicky today! In Sweden it´s the start of a fenomenal sale. I´m usually not much for running around trying to get a catch with a million other people wanting the same thing...although we bought Signe a jacket from Benetton for x-mas and I think it´s a tiny bit to small. Have to get ourselves a bigger one and that means we have to go. Or..there won´t be a jacket left for us. :o Strange thing? :o
People will get totally nuts..
Talking about totally...;) I´d like to enter this easelcard I made with the absolutely fabby gingerbread Tilda in the Totally Tilda challenge blog. Challenge 12 is all about easel cards. You know how much I love those so..
Well, now I have to move on..
Have a great day!

GDT Whiff of joy: Melinda blowing kisses

Good morning in blogland
I made this card yesterday for the Friday sketchers challenge #133. It´s my very first entering there. I have always admired their lovely sketches and there´s a first time for everything.
The sketch is made by Aud and look´s like this:

When I was getting started I chose the image first (I always do) and then which patterned papers and after that I inked stunning little Melinda blowing kisses from Whiff of joy. And then...nothing..I was all out of ideas so the sketch really came in handy ;) Thank´s!
You can see the other products I´ve used on this card from Whiff of joy at the bottom of this posting.

I feel I´m ready for Santa to come now ;) Everything is baked, wrapped and decorated. Can´´t wait to see the rest of the family, enjoying the very tasty food and watching the true joy in my daughters eyes. What about you? All set? :o

LOTV Challenge #77: a sketch

Hi there all :)
I´m amazed by the amount of snow Scania is getting this year! It keeps coming :) I think it´s so beautiful but I don´t like taking the car for a spin..;) However...I´m tired of making all of those x-mascards and after visiting the extremily talanted cardmaker and treasured friend in blogland, Kim, I was filled with inspiration (as usual ;)) She had made a stunning spring card and I wanted to do the same!
This is my result! Santa Claus came early to my house this year, or at least my mailbox ;) I bought my very first images from Lily of the valley  some time ago and I just couldn´t wait to ink one of them up. I think this little fairy was simply perfect for a spring congrats card. :) She´s so cute and she was indeed so much fun to ink, just as I suspected ;)
Over at the LOTV Challengeblog were I´d like to enter this cárd awaits a utterly stunning sketch made by another treasured friend, Dena. Thank´s I had so much fun with it!

Sketch by Dena

Thank you all so very much for all of your lovely comments and for looking today :)

Pizza boxes for Signes daycare teatchers

Today I´d like to showcase these small "pizza" boxes I´ve made for the teatchers at my daughter Signe´s daycare. They´re taking really good care of her and when I leave her there I do it with a sense of security. That means a great deal to me (and Signe) so for me this is a way of showing them I appreciate the job they´re doing.
They are named Natali, Agneta and Susanne and the stickers spell out Merry Christmas in swedish. I have used some Magnolia Tildas. Inside is tags with more personal greetings. ;) And the pressies which will be earrings from a swedish brand called snow. Seems very suitable right now as the snow litteraly just won´t stop coming..But that fine with me ;)

GDT Whiff of joy: Nora wishes Happy new year!

Hi everyone! ♥
WOW! We had an amazing blog hop yesterday! I was full of admiration for my fellow dt and gdt members at Whiff of joy. They have created some truly stunning projects and cards :) If you missed out on all the action yesterday, it´s not to late. Go to Katharinas blog and follow the order til the end ;)
I´d like to thank all of you who visited me yesterday, I have never had so much comments and lovley words left for me before and let me tell you, I could easily get used to that. ;) Thank´s and I hope to see some of you return again.

I made todays card some days ago but I haven´t gotten around to upload it til today. I´m entering the current challenge at Sketchy colors which is about creating after a lovely sketch made by the fab norweigan cardmaker Lena Katrine. It looks like this:

I ended up turning it around a bit. The sketch was a lot of fun! Thank´s!
The lovely lady Nora with rose from Whiff of joy´s new year collection was my choice for this card. Isn´t she a stunner? And I think she´s sooo adaptable. I can see her on many diffrent projects for diffrent occasions ;) and that´s always a big advantage, love that in an image.
I have also used the new romantic swirls 2 dies which were also part of the new year collection released in december.

Well, I have lot´s of things to take care of today. Are you all set for christmas?? :o I´m soooo....not! I have some xmas pressies left to shop, but hey! That shouldn´t be a problem. My hubby tells me I´m like a big black hole ;) ;) No matter how much (or few) money I have left, I´m always up for getting ride of them as well ;) A good quality in a cardmaker....or not ;) *Ha,ha,ha* Luckily I know he says this with lot´s of love in his voice :) I´m like the happiest girl in the world, my hubby is so supporting! Love him!
Have a great day!
