Christmas in june at LLC

Good morning and welcome to my weekly inspirational post for the Live and Love Crafts blog

I must admit this weeks theme was a tad bit challenging, especially as its warm and sunny in Sweden at the moment. By now you would have guess what it is, its Christmas in june. It couldn't have come at a better time though because every year I say: "This year I will start my christmas cards early" and so on and I hardly ever do. This is still fairly early so I guess its better than past years anyways ;) lol

Once I got started I listened to past years christmas playlist I put together on Spotify and the christmassy feelings slowly started welling up. After having rated my christmas stamps box I decided on these two cuties from Magnolia. Aren't they sweet? They remind me of my little girlies. I colored them in using my di pads. Its been a while since I used them so I felt a bit rusty. Man, I just cant say this enough times...I LOVE Frantage. Its even more perfect for christmas cards! And these papers! These papers blew me away when they were released last year! Im such a sucker for everything pink and the "Silent night" collection from Pion Design is just unbelievably pretty! Don't you think? The great thing is...they are still on clearance sale in the Live and love Crafts store. I promise you, I have a little stock of my own in my house now ;) lol

Im hoping you like this :)
Lots of love,

MDUC Anything goes meets CLP sketch

Good evening and welcome here!

Tonight Im doing a combined post, both for Magnolia Down Under challenges which has the lovely theme of Anything goes and its also my midway reminder for CLP sketch challenge where the lush sketch for June looks like this:

My creation is the last graduation card of this year. Its for our neighbors oldest daughter Isabelle. She graduated this past tuesday and we wanted to wish her good luck with whatever she choses to do next.
I chose to work with my new fav color (well...as you can see theres still splashes of pink on there or else Id be ill ;)) lilac. Its Isabelles fav so that worked out perfectly.
Before I leave you I want to show you some more close ups:

Now, do not forget to join us. We would be delighted if you did!
Hurry on over to the challengeblogs to take a look at the beyond stunning creations made by my fellow teamies :)

Tilda and Pearl enjoying summer

Hi there everybody!
Oh my, do we have a theme I just looooooove in the Live and Love Crafts blog this week? Its SUMMER and that is my fav - all categories. I mostly enjoy summer when Im making cards - you are aloud to thrive in those pastel colors, and IRL its by far my fav time of year. Just chilling in my garden with something ice cool to drink facing the big yellow circle in the sky is when I feel most alive. But I think its like that for most Swedes, we have such a long and dark autumn and winter before somebody switches on the light in the sky for us. ;)

I chose to make a shaker card as inspiration for you all. My image is once again a cute Magnolia Tilda that is called "Tilda and pearl". She is inked with my Copic sketch markers. Well, whats shaking on here you might think? I decided to use the new mica fragments that Sandy stocks in the LLC store. They are perfect for the occasion, not to heavy and not to small either ;) Besides the lovely flakes I would also like to mention the lovely seashells that I placed on both sides of the image - aren't those just tooooo pretty? Gees, I need more straight away. Oh, and the sentiment from Magnolia is still available in the store too, but Sandy isn't going to stock stamps anymore so hurry if you feel like having one of you're own, its on sale too. As always I have listed all materials used at the end of my posting using Inlinkz for you. Just click the little picture and it will take you right there. I hope you find my creation to be an inspiration. I sure had dun making it!

Thank you so much for being here today :)

Geekin it with paint in the vintage garden

Hi there everybody!
Sunday again and my turn to host the inspirational post at Live and Love crafts blog. We have had some serious fun this week and I bet its more than me getting fingers all painted ;) Yes our weekly theme is "Paint". To tell the truth it wasn't much of a difference for me since I always use it nowadays.

I decided to use a rubberstamp that has been screaming out its need for ink sitting on my desk for weeks and its this utterly cool image called Geekin it. She is so sweet I think! Her glasses are so fashionable here in Sweden atm so a very up to date geek ;) She is colored with my di pads on 300 gr watercolor paper. I tried a different hair color again and i used a combination of Tumbled glass, Salty ocean and Walnut stain. This is the theme of the current challenge with the talanted ladies over at the Saturated canary challenge blog. (Hair thats different) I also followed the sketch over at the Sketchy challenges. I think its one of those you simply have to download and save for later as its a great one! One of those that leaves a lot to your own imagination and still is pretty specific ;) If you know what I mean ;) rofl
Since our little geek has an apple placed on the top of her head I FINALLY got the perfect opportunity to use one of the latest new items in the Live and love crafts store namely the stunning mini apples. They are so fabby! And of course every girl has a mobile phone so thats the charm I ended up using. For my paint I used two di crackle paint products, the tattered rose one and od course the picket fence one ;)
For a list of all products used pls check the end of my posting. Heres some more close ups:

LLC challenge June Birthstones meets MDUC Bling it!

Hello everybody and happy saturday night to you all ;)

This posting is a combined one for two challenges. The monthly challenge for june over at Live and Love crafts is an amazing and fun one! I loved working with it! We would like to see you create a project in your birthstone color. It means you can add lots and lots of it and also you can add it in spots here and there. For instance my birthstone color is the april one, diamond, and I chose to add in in spots here and there otherwise I think it would be way hard. If my birthstone was february I would have added lots and lots, see? ;)
I think this challenge goes perfectly together with the new weekly challenge at Magnolia Down Under which is Bling it! If you're not sure about your birthstone color you can check out the little sheet beneath here that I borrowed from a place online called aurora gems.

For my project I chose to make the second part of an order I received a while ago regarding a gift set for a graduation. The order is for a girl named Nina and this is the gift-bag. If you're interested in looking at both card and gift-bag together here they are:

Now let me tell you more about the gift bag. I used the same utterly gorge papers from Pion Design so they make a lovely match. The cute lady that made the order for these, Annelie, seems to know what she wants - she was the perfect customer ;) She said it needed to be lot of white and we both agreed on no blue and yellow (as thats the colors of the swedish flag ;)) which I was delighted about ;) and wanted pink and cream as the additional colors. Seems me and Annelie is great minds thinking alike ;) rofl! To add the diamond bits I added rhinestones to the swirls representing movement around Ballerina Tilda which was also Annelie's choice for the gift-bag. I also added another one of the UTTERLY AMAZING Vintage trinkets from Prima that Sandy stocks. (You can find links to all products used at the end of this posting) On the crown in Tilda's hair I added stickles star dust which is also very diamond looking me thinks, you can also see I added some of that to the lovely little clay heart I placed on the bow. These also represents the bling of course and besides that I also see pearls as somewhat blingy so I added some here and there too.

Before I leave I have some close up picture to share with you all. Besides that I also want to remind you to please pop by both the MDUC blog and the LLC blog to take a look at the beyond gorge creations by my cute teamies. Join us, we would be so happy to see you there :)

Vintage Garden

Hi and very welcome here!

Today its sunday and Id like to showcase this weeks creation for the Live and Love crafts blog. One of my absolute fav paper makers, Pion Design, just recently released an all new collection called Vintage Garden. I probably don't have to write Im sooooo in love ha? Well, Ill tell you anyways ;) As always there are so many amazing sheets to chose from so I absolutely had to have them all. Those of you that follow me probably have understood that I fancy pink and I was sooooo happy to see there is some a little more vibrant this time.

The stamp I used is a Magnolia stamp released in the most recent christmas collection but I think she's very versatile and can be used for any occasion really. She is colored with my di pads on 300 g watercolor paper from The Langton. I have added stickles various places of Tilda with my fav Star dust. I have also used some Frantage in the color Shabby green. Its lovely, isn't it? The little banners are from the cut out sheet and so is that adorable little vintage picture I placed in the middle. The pink gingham ribbon is fairly newly stocked and its my first time using it. Thats also the case for that beyond GORGE lace with pearls!!! Oh my gawd...loooooove it! Totally shabby :) The shabby chic little cherub is an item Id like to add to ALL of my LLC cards but that would bore you so I haven't used one in a wee while, can you see I added it to the ribbon?
If you'd like to take a closer look at what I used pls check the end of this posting as I have an Inlinkz gallery there. Just click the picture and it will take you right there.

Im hoping you will like this weeks make :)

Lots of love

More naughty puppies from Wee

Hi everybody!
WHOOOOT WHOOOOOT! Or maybe WOOOOF WOOOOOOF would be a better idea cause Id like to welcome you all to see more of the utterly cute Wee stamps may release which is "Naughty puppies". Today Id like to showcase a stunner called "Puppy with snail". You can find him and his buddies in a digi set in Wee stamp store and also for us rubber lovers as a set in the The Whimsy stamp store

Although I think he is such a sweetheart I must confess I wish I had had more time creating with these sweethearts. Some of you might have heard my husbands uncle has been suffering from cancer that he was diagnosed with early february this year. Sadly he has been feeling more and more ill and last week he passed and its been a difficult time for everybody as yo can imagine. My crafty spirits hasn't exactly been at its highest note lately so I might have to give this adorable pups another go a little later on. Im proud that I managed to make the release though. I hope you will find this to your liking anyways. I have used one of the gorge sentiments that is part of the set here and isnt it just puuuuuurfect ;) Those pawprints are so darling. ;) He is inked woth Copics and placed on a spellbinder circular die. I have sewn all the edges and added some flowers from my stash. The papers are from Prima. This card is a bit darker than I usually make them maybe its a reflection of my mood? I was happy to hear both Sylvia and Mariska loved my makes so for that Im happy! Thanks!

Lots of love
