DT WOJ challenges # 103: Jane´s fantastic sketch

I can hardly believe how fast time has run by these past few months! Here in Sweden we still have the most gorgoues wheater :) Feels like summer is already here :) An amazing feeling but..at the same time it makes me a wee bit worried about the rest of the actual summer. If summer is here in april what will wheater be like in june, july and august? I´m hoping for wheater just as smashing as this, because we want to do so much when Johan is home with us during his holiday.

Well, time flies and this fortnight it´s already time for a new challenge over at Whiff of joy! My teamie and dear friend Jane has created this fabolous sketch for us all:

Thank you Jane, I had so much fun creating after this lovely sketch!
The patterned papers I have used for this card comes from a Prima paper pad called "Madeline" and I truly loved then when I saw them. I stil loved them while I choose which ones to use but then it just stopped..I had like no inspiration! Kept thinking it was so strange but now that I see the finished result I realize the colours are so much darker then the ones I usually go with. But in the end I´m kind of satisfied anyways. ;) I love, love, love the WOJ image it´s called Dancing Willow. The sentiment is part of the matching kit named City girl sayings.
So come on you talanted ladies, grab your gear and a WOJ image of your choice and start creating! We would love to see you join us :) If you´re still not completly sure..I advice you to run over to the Whiff of joy challenge blog and be inspired with the lovely work my teamies made - again :)

"Old school" Tilda is bringing someone flowers for their b-day

Today I have a another Magnolia card to showcase :) I was going through my stamps to find the "right" one and oh boy! I´m going to have to sell some again..You would probably think this is one of my very first Tildas but I actually bought it when I last visited the Maggieshop in Borås ;) Which was this february ;) He,he,he! I think she is so cute! I actually don´t care much for the early on Maggies but I couldn´t resist this one.When I first saw her I imagined her bouquet of lilacs with flower soft on them and I´m far from a flower soft expert but I think the end result is pretty nice :)
I have made this card by comission from an old coworker of mine.
It is also the first time I have used my doo hickey fence. It´s one of those things I have had in my stash for quite some time but didn´t get around to using until now. Feels good! It is way to beautiful to lay around collecting dust..
I´m hoping my coworker will like this as much as me ;)

Hurra = hurray
grattis = congrats

DT Tickled pink stamps meets Sketchy colors

As you have read about here in my blog before Tickled pink stamps is sponsering Sketchy colors for the whole months of april :) This week it´s all about following this sketch:

I like sketch challenges because they are a huge help for us all when we get stuck sometimes. ;) I also like that you don´t have to follow the sketch to the dot. This time for an example I have moved the bow slightly to the left insted of right benith the image and I have used a square mat for my image. So lot´s of inspiration but still you don´t get to see one card that is exactly like another. Love that! ;)
I have used one of the new stamps for april called August. Isn´t she gorgoues!
Of course you can see more inspiration from us {PINK} ladies over at the lovely Tickled pink stamps blog. My fellow dt members has made some smashing interpretations!

Papers: black and light purple cs from Bazill Basics, patterned papers from Webster pages.
Stamps: August from Tickled pink stamps
Tools: all edges sewn and distressed with a tool from TH.
Embellies: flowers from WOC, ribbon from Panduro, rhinestones from Magnolia, alphabeth stickers from Basic Grey.
Medium: distress ink pads on 300 g watercolorpaper
