Color me wonderful

Good morning!

Today Im back to showcase a card that is very special to me.
I don't know about you but I always try and out my heart and soul into my card making. Sometimes you know already first hand whom will be the receiver and those cards are even more special I think. This one is made for a very treasured friend of mine, you probably know her too ;) She is the lovely Christina of Christinas Scrapkammare (click the link and you will visit her Facebook page), also the author of the popular blog Christinas scrapkammare. She has been working so hard lately trying to nail her Copic exam and well, even though I knew all along she was going to pass all along she has been patiently awaiting her results. And YES!!! She passed and is now a Copic Master! Yay!
She will be teaching some ECCP classes soon so keep yourselfs posted and ready to sign up!

Some of you know Im bitten by the Saturated canary bug when it comes to inking with my copics and since Christina is a Copic master now thats what I wanted to do. Im no where near as good as she is but that doesn't matter. I wanted the perfect image and I thought this was it! Her name is Color me wonderful and see..shes holding on tight to those markers. Doesn't get much more perfect than that ;) But then again its the hair…talk about taking on a challenge..ugh! I think it turned out okay in the end. I inked the hair and skin for like 2 and a half hours and then the skin was 20 min out of those..lol! Like I said, Im not an expert ;)

Here she is in a little close up, don't look to hard ;)

The dp's are by Pion design, one of my favorites. They are a mix of "A day in may" and "Sweet baby" collections. The sentiment is in swedish saying "I just wanted to say - congratulations" Its by the lovely Gummiapan (Rubbermonkey, she also stores some english sentiments that are pretty great if you consider a visit). Flowers by WOC. The Prima resin key is from The Ribbon girl.

Thank you so much for looking!
Lots of love

Rainy Tilda from Little London

Hello there cuties!

As some of you know I now have ALL of my stash packed and awaiting the move to my new room (That hubby hasn't even started...) God, knows when that will be! I imagine that some of you might realize the "pain" and longing Im going through not being able to play so yesterday evening I just had to go against everything I said I wouldn't do and I opened some boxes and had a go! I LOVED it! No surprise there ...duh! However...I can tell you it felt that it was a while since I created anything. Coloring took ages and I "never" seemed to like any papers I could use without unpacking it all. So at the end I had almost every box open..;) And I have a feeling I will do that again! lol!

As the Little London stamps were released I just HAD to buy two of the Tilda's and Rainy Tilda is one of those. I just couldn't bear the feeling she was laying there alone, not seeing distressers.
The papers are also Magnolia. The one with the clouds are so old but also very gold, at least if you ask me. Im almost out of it! :(
The dies, a mini tag and the vintage keys are also by Magnolia. The rest is all from my all time fav shabby store Live and Love Crafts

Got to keep it a bit short today as Im taking my oldest, Signe, to the movies! Looking forward to some one on one time with my sweetie. But I do have some time to show you some extra pictures:

Thank you so, so much for still popping by here after all of this time, it really means the world to me!
You are the best followers ever!
Hang tight!
I will soon share some Magnolia christmas candy - two new images from the upcoming collection that I bought for you at the Magnolia store in Borås during Magnolia Event.

MDUC Designers choice weeks: Flower Power

Hi crafters!

Welcome to tonights posting where I tell you all about the new theme over at Magnolia Down Under Challenges. I cant even begin to tell you how exited I am about it. We are trying something new during summer this year where we as designers has chosen one theme each that we LOVE working after! Last week was teamie Debbie D´s choice of Sepia coloring and this week its my time to pick the theme. What I chose must not be a total surprise to you as I hardly ever make cards without this lush embellishment, namely: FLOWERS! Theme is FLOWER POWER and so we are expecting to see your flower showered creations :) Go dig yourself done that flower(s) container and get your  groove on and I will meet you there. :)

To tell you a little about my own creation its a thank you for your friendship card for one of my treasured blog buddies AND IRL buddies! Yes, we get together every once in a while to sit down and craft and Im loving that! To meet online is fantastic! To meet IRL is something extra. Her name is Christina and she is the author of Christinas scrapkammare. She inks with Copics a lot more than I do and is a chosen dt member for the newly started Copic Marker Sweden blog. I ask for her advice on color combinations all the time so Im thankful she puts up with me ;) lol!
This time I inked Tilda with my Copics too and I had so much fun. THe blue patterned paper is by Maja Design from the latest "Vintage Spring Basics", 12*12 sheet is called 7th of march. The sentiment is from Bildmålarna and around the edge of the flower center I added some shabby blue embossing powder and pink rolled roses from Live and love crafts. The letters is cut out with a die from Sizzix by TH and is called Type set. The beautiful diamante spacer is from The ribbon girl. The sentiment "Big hugs to you" is from a sheet of sentiments called "Friendship sentiments" from my beautiful and utterly talanted friend Angie Hunts store Little Darling Rubberstamps. (Oh I miss you guys! We had so much fun! Love you all)
Those sentiments are amazing, they are not as huge in size as they regularly is so they can fit into the smallest spaces like my little Doo Hickey die there. I will definitely buy more of those! The turqoise roses are by Prima all of the other flowers are WOC.

Heres some more close ups:

I hope you will take the time out of your busy schedules to join us at MDUC this week, that would mean the world to me :)
But hey, don't forget to firstly pop over to look at all the beyond fabby creations made by my teamies!
