Shhh...baby sleeping ;)

I´m back to show you another card I made for a baptism. As I have written about before my hubbys coworker ordered two cards (you can see them in my last two postings) and she was so happy with them she ordered yet another baptism card, this time for a little babyboy. He will be given the name Mathias.
Went with another tent card :)
I inked up this little stunning baby from Magnolias Cozy autumn collection released in 2010. I think it´s ment to be baby Tilda, doesn´t she look kind of girlie? But...I still think it´s suitable for a baby boy card. ;)

I can´t believe it´s friday already ;) The weeks seems to fly by right now but a weekend off is always welcome.
I have been to a sale at a lovely scrapstore today, Marie and Millan the owners of Stämpelgården has decided to shut down their buisiness. :( It´s always fun shopping cheap but I was so sad meanwhile today..Marie and Millan was kind enough to show their faith in me by assigning me my very first dt spot.
Thank you for everything! We have had so many good times togheter and it was with great sorrow in my heart I read about the closing earlier this week :( I´ll see to it that we will meet again cuties :)

I´ll edit this post later, adding my material list for those interrested. I have to take a break now, my daughter is so tired...I´m off reading a fairytale for her now

Pink shaker card for baptism

Hi, I´m just here a quickie today to show you the second card I made for my hubbys coworker Jeanette. The first one was the weddingcard I posted yesterday and as I told you then she also ordered a baptism card for a little girl. She will be given the name Wilma. :) Cute ha?

I decided to go with a shaker card as I wanted to make something extra. You probably all remember the very inspirational shaker card Lillemor had published in Magnolia Ink magazine this autumn using this stamp. Gorgoues! I think it´s a splendid idea for a baptism card. :)

I´m entering this card in the current sketch challenge with the very talanted ladies over at Sketchy colors. Ellen is the maker of this very inspiring sketch:

Love is still in the air: present card

WOW! I like this being off work thing ;) My craft mojo is raising high and I can´t wait to get it on again tonight ;) He,he,he!

My hubby called me yesterday asking if I could make two cards for his coworker, her name is Jeanette. Of course I can I said...then hubby informed me it is for two very special occasions, one wedding and one baptism. YAY! And...they had to be finished by thursday! That is quick knowing I can only create on the evenings or well..when my little sunshine has gone to bed ♥ ;) And for two that special occasions. A "regular" card takes like two evenings for me (one for inking and one for putting it all togheter, but then an evening is between 19.30 and 22 for me. What can I say, sleep is important for me and my functioning and my sunshine is always bright and shiny early ;)) But I couldn´t pass on this opportunity, I love to help people out making somebodys day extra special ;)
I thought long and hard about this weddingcard, I wanted something special and I felt like trying out a new fold. Then I came to think off the splendid lady named Dena whom posted a lovely tutorial on her blog some time ago about how to make a Present card. I was so amazed by her beauiful card and wanted to make my own right away! So now I have tried it out :) Thank´s for a stunning tutorial hunny!
I feel satisfied, now I´m hoping Jeanette will be too :)
Thank you for visiting me today and for all your sweet, sweet words, the mean a lot to me :)

I´m entering this card at the current challenge over at Just Magnolia. They have a theme called Love is this week. The dt´s has made some pretty amazing projects for us all to inspire from.

Materials:
Papers: peach and baby blue bazill basic cs, patterned papers from Graphic 45 "Baby and Bride" collection.
Stamps: from Magnolia Wedding collection.
Tools: nesties circles and scalloped circles, heart and scalloped heart from Spellbinder, TH Distresser tool, all edges are sewed.
Embellies: flowers from Magnolia, Papirloftet and WOC, ribbons from Panduro, tulle from Papirloftet, bling from Magnolia and pearls from Pema, charm from JP Hobby, alphabet stickers from Making memories.
I have painted with distresser on 300 g watercolorpaper.

Hoppy Easter to all

Hi everyone :)
I have an easter card featuring some real cutie Maggies to show you today :)
Decided to make another tentcard tight away, they are so much fun and I like it that you still have a lot of space to embellish ;) Some fold doensn´t and I prefer the ones that do ;)
I´m aware there is still a long time til easter but I have had like a craving to do eastercards for a while now ;) I realized yesterday I unfortounately didn´t buy that many out of last years "Hoppy easter" collection and that is such a drag! I adore them and I guess my fascination has actually become even bigger than a year ago ;) Love that sentiment! Took lot´s of pics on this one, hope you bear with me ;) On the Tilda in egg stamp I used some "rock candy" cracklepaint so it really adds to the cracked apperance but I couldn´t photograph it as well as I had hoped..If I mention it, you might discover it ;) Some of you cuties in blogland has been wondering how a tentcard looks from the side and the last pic shows you ;)

Here in Sweden lot´s of kids has a break from school. That means I could take two days off from work :) I hope I feel like making a card tonight as well, have the feeling a cold is about to bless me though..that wouldn´t a great surprise since I was home with Signe so many days last week cause she had a fever and a cold. Waiting for my hubby to bring me some meds..

I´d like to enter this tent card over with the extremely talanted ladies at MDUC Challenges. They want us to distress our projects this week and as you know - I´m a big fan of that!

Papers: light yellow and light pink bazill basic cs, patterned papers from a paper pad called "Bunny Love" from Best creations Ink (bought it at the Maggie store in Borås this friday ;))
Stamps: Hello Tilda! and Bunny Tilda from Magnolia, sentiment also from Magnolia.
Embellies: bling from Magnolia, flowers from WOC and Magnolia, yellow brad and feathers from Stämpelgården, checkred and rose ribbon from Scraproom and the yellow ribbon is from Panduro.
Painted with distresser on 300 g watercolorpaper.

DT Fuzzy Wuzzy mid month reminder: Birthday wishes

Hi ya all :)
I´m here to tell you all you still have 2 more weeks left to enter our on going challenge over at Fuzzy Wuzzy, we want to see your projects made for birthday celebrations :) Besides that it should also feature an animal/critter in focus. One of our teamies, the amazingly talanted and Kellie, owner and founder of Tickled pink stamp is very genourosly sponsoring us with a superfab prize consisting of either 2 digis OR one rubber stamp of your choice!! She´s got some pretty stunning stamps in stock :)  So throw your self over your stash and contribute! We would be so thrilled!

I have used one of these fab stamps named Mollie Mittens with flower on my card for todays reminder post. I think she is the sweetest thing! :) I just saw that Kellie has decided to add another price: one winner will recieve this wonderful Mollie stamp!
I felt like trying a fold I have never done before and my choice was a tent card. If you haven´t tried this fold you definately should - very easy and so much fun. I made it after Sandie´s tutorial found here.

This is actually a birthday card for my daughter Signe, she turns four in may so still some time til then but when I laid eyes on stunning Mollie I immeditely knew I wanted her to feature this card. Both Signe and I are true pink lovers so the colorcombo was not a hard choice ;) The sentiment is in swedish and comes from Inkido. It says:

"Remember yesterday, dream about tomorrow but live today". I´m pretty sure she won´t understand the context but this is a saying I try to live after myself. Not always easy but surely something to think about :)

I hope you have a great day!

Stamps: Mollie Mittens with flower, sentiment from Inkido
Papers: White and light pink bazill basic cs, dp´s from Riddersholms design
Tools: leaf die from Magnolia, nesties (petit scalloped ovals, petite ovals) from Spellbinder
Embellies: flowers from WOC, white thicker (no 4), halfpearls and bling from Magnolia, alphabet stickers from MME, ribbon from Panduro.
Colored with distressers on 300 g watercolorpaper.
