Giftset for my dad´s 60th birthday

Good morning to all in blog land :)
I spent most of my time yesterday at a friend´s house making this giftset for my dad. Those of you who visits me on a regular basis knows we´re soon off to Egypt celebrating his birthday! He turn´s 60 soon and that calls for a big celebration! :)
I bought this album at the Magnolia store in Borås early this summer and it´s so typical me to not start off working with it until yesterday. I used my favourite patterned papers for this project. They´re from Tim Holtz. All the edges on the album has been painted with Crackle paint picket fence (also from Ranger ;)) Most of the floers comes from Magnolia and so does the image. Isn´t this Edwin just the cutest thing?? I´ve been using him for most of my cards for men :) My dad´s name is Hans and that´s why the thickers spells that out ;) I hope my father will like this special gift!

I´m very honoured so many of you wanted to stick with me even since my candy is now over :) But I think I have to be very clear however ;) The candy is over now and a lucky winner was drawn yesterday. If you want to follow me that´s just swell but unfourtunatley the candy is over and done with..;)

Now I´m off to pack some last minute things and be sure to think about us in the morning at 5.30 am. That´s when the plane takes off! ;) Sunny days, here we come!

Criss cross x-mas with Papilio

Hi there :)
Today I´d like to show you a criss cross card I made using some very cute and usable stamps from Papilio :) Lida has been baking some christmascookies for us. Isn´t she the cutest thing standing ready with the rolling pin in her hands! She reminds me of my little girl, always wanting to bake something (doesn´t really matter what - just about anything will do ;) and when we are getting busy she get´s that same "exited but patiently waiting for us to start look" in her eyes.
After making some non traditional looking christmas cards I felt like making a traditional one again. So I started painting Lida in red and brown and after that I picked out some matching patterned papers. I usually do it the other way around but it worked out fine this time :) Those of you who know me a bit better also know red isn´t my fav colour to craft with but I love these new red "A merry little christmas" papers from Magnolia. I still struggled a bit with the embellies. Don´t have so much to pick from there since I hardly ever craft with red...I added some snow here and there using my puffy white pen. Inside the card I used some of the stamps from the little pack Seven sorts of cookies. Also very usuable! I have a feeling I´ll use it on lot´s of the x-mas cards this year. :)

I´d like to finish off today´s posting with thanking all of my new and "old" followers for wanting to participate in my blog candy! Far more peps than I ever expected and I´m so grateful for all of your lovely comments about my work ♥.
Thank´s for taking a look today!

Tilda plays the violin

Hi there!
I hope you are all well :) I´m so exited to see a lot of you want to participate in my blogcandy, please spread the word ;)

Today I´d like to show you a new card a made yesterday with one of the upcoming christmas stamps from Magnolia. She is playing the violin! Isn´t she the cutest thing. I love the romantic feel :)
I´m entering two challenges with this card:
Sketchy Colors Colourcombi pink, blue and grey
Just Magnolia #76 2*2 ( 2 ribbons, 2 papers, 2 charms, 2 embellies and so on)

I realize it´s hard to see the grey details but it´s there for sure ;) I just can´t capture the silver stickle I put on the snowflakes ;) I painted Tilda with my distressers on 300 g watercolourpaper. The frame is made using a punch around the page set from Martha Stewart. The adorable snowflakes was part of the goodiebag I recieved at Magnolia this weekend. I gave them a snowy toutch using a puffy pen. The patterned papers are from Tim Holtz.
Thank´s for you visit!

Magnolias grand reopening :)

Hi gals ♥
I´ve had a great day today!! :D
Lot´s of peps probably heard the big news a while ago. Magnolia had a big reopening, besides all the lovely things for all cardmakers and scrappers they also sell interior design and some yummie for your tummie! Yes, they have a café too ;)
Since we have a long drive ahead of us, me and my greatest cardmakingfriend Annette left home yesterday for a little roadtrip. We arrived in Borås around 10 pm and took a spin down to Magnolia to make sure no one was there already, and no one was..Just us crazed ladies ;) So we want to the hotel for a good nights sleep and returned at 8 am for some shopping! It was just us and four other cuties that we had lots of fun with til they opened the door at 10 am. But as time went by more gals arrived of course...Me and my firend ended up as no 5 and 6 through the door and that ment goodoebags for us! Yay! I especially loved the stamp Pauline made just for this occasion! Tilda is so cute holding a banner :)
Unfortunately there was so much peps there I really had to use my elbows to move around in the store and I didn´t think to much about taking pictures so that you could take part of my great day! Sorry!

But...I´m happy to announce my blog soon has had 10 000 visitors and I bought some extra stamps for a blog candy I´m planning to celebrate this! My followers all has the chance to win, so take a look tomorrow ;)

Me and Annette

I felt so lucky to meet some of the very talanted ladies on Magnolias dt! This is fab Lillemor :) I also watched Angie and Camilla H paint with distressers and got lots of great tips!

Guest DT MDUC: Challenge #66 Colourcombo green, blue, yellow and craft

Hi everyone :)

YAY!! It´s time for a new challenge over at Magnolia Down Under Challenges! This week it´s all about combining the colours blue, green, yellow and craft :) I struggled a bit with this challenge but I´m happy with the end result :)
Besides the fact this used to be colours I never would put together before I bought a spellie frameability at the convent last sunday. I have been wanting them for quite a long time but I actually havn´t found them in a webshop in Sweden :) Thrilled about finally getting my hands on them I got right to work ;) I have seen wonderful and very talanted Mag use them numerous times and I believed she used two papers on top of each other ;) I couldn´t understand how she managed to make it look that way! ;) Until my hubby (whom was very determind to help me find the solution ;) ) cracked how it´s done! Thank´s my love! I was so frustrated! I checked Mag´s blog out several of times and just before finding out how it´s done I was actually ready to throw my computer out of the window! :o And all along it said exactly how to do it in  the user manual.....how embarrasing, I didn´t understand what stencil means...! The day after I just had to email Mag and tell her about my struggle with this ;) I think she had a good laugh ;) But she´s such a darling, logged right in here checking out my work :) Thank´s for all the support Mag! I doubt you have managed to miss out on her lovely work but If you have: put a stop to it now! ;)

Well...I will definatly use this colourcombo again :) It´s a wonderful thing these challenges, that´s what they do for you! Challenging you.. And hey, that´s a good thing or else I could wonder around in my pinks all the time ;) And my spellie frame I feel is going to be put to a lot of use as well ;) And I love this cute little Tilda, she´s just fab! And for the first time I´ve used almost every doo hickey I own : The big flower is made from them :) So cute!

As usual the other ladies on the dt struck me with their stunning work! So don´t forget to log on, get inspired and start crafting! We love all the entries, it must be hard for the ladies to pick one winner and top 5 every week!
It´s with great sadness in my heart I´m finishing of this post, it´s my last as a guest dt....:( But: THANK´S LOVELYS for this oppurtunity, I have learned so much and it´s been such an honour :) A very special thank´s to Kylie for all her support and lovely email during this time I´m not to sad though cause I know I´ll see you all again on your blogs and of course over at MDUC :)

More Christmas stamps from Papilio ♥

Good morning lovelys :)

Finally a new card from me...I have been crafting during the week as well but not as much as I´m used to. I´m one of those people who doensn´t treasure autumn very much. My favourite time of the year is definatly summer or spring so...I´m a bit tired now ;) I also like the thought of snuggling in the sofa under a blanket with lid candles but it´s so dark outside... I think I need some more light. It´s dark when I leave the house in the morning and it sure doesn´t take long beore it´s dark in the evening  when we come home agian. Maybe it´s a little autumn depression ;)? I lost some of my mojo but I feel it coming back again :)

Today I´d like to show you a a new dt card I made for Papilio. I think the new christmas stamps are just beautiful :) So this little guy Ole realunced my mojo :) The stamp is called Oles bukkedans. I made an easelcard with snowflakes and he has some stickles star dust on his cap, for that frosty feeling ;)
Hope you like it :) If you want to feel free to leave a comment, they make me thrilled
