It´s been quiet here but..

...I´ve been working on some dt projects for Whiff of joy :) I have had so much fun and I decided to challenge myself and make a card that isn´t really my style but I´m so happy with how it turned out! Sorry to say I can´t show them to you all just yet. Hang tight ;) They will be posted in next week :)

My daughter, Signe is now three and a half years old and is so eager to try this hobby too :) She is so cute playing around at my table! She made her very first card on saturday. I can´t resist showing it to you all, I  think she´s a star on the rising :) Ha,ha,ha!! ;) Mummy´s pride
Maybe she went a bit overboard with the stickles? No....you simply can´t ;) ;)

And in the afternoon I found her sitting on the toilet reading some real important news ;)

I´ll be back with new projects soon :)
Hugs to you all and I wish you all a lovely week :)

Hi there!
I´m so happy I managed to make an easelcard for the challenge over at the lovely MDUC blog :) It´s been more than a while since I entered :(

It was a delight to work with! Thank´s so much hunny!
I actually feel a tiny bit ashamed though...Ii have had this cutiepie Tilda in my stash for quite a while now but she has never seen ink before! :o *blush* Tilda is as usual inked with distressers on 300 g watercolorpaper.

There´s not to m uch time left to enter but if you´re quik you might manage ;) Even if you don´t I  warmly recommend a visit at the blog! The dt´s has created pure magic as an inspiration for the rest of us!

To finish off my posting I just want to tell you all: TODAY IS FRIDAY!! ;) ;) Yay!!

DT Fuzzy Wuzzy Challenges #5: Anything goes!

It´s time for us over at The fuzzy wuzzy to post another challenge again today :) It´s my second time contributing togheter with this lovely gang of ladies and I´m so exited! This time the theme is "Anything goes"
We are sponsered by the generous Katharina, owner of Whiff of joy. That means you can win these two amazing rubberstamps :)

All medias, brands and projects are welcome as long as they feature an animal!

I made this birthday card for a little girl that turns one very soon ;) My choice of image fell on this cutie called Mina, the celebrating cangaroo from Whiff of joy. Have you seen the little baby riding safely in the care of it´s mother? Makes my heart skip a beat ;) I have also put one of my favourite dies to good use also from Whiff of joy, namely the Pennants. The patterned papers are from an oldie but goldie paper pad called Kioshi from Basic Grey.

We, the dt gang, can hardly wait to see all of the stunning cards or projects made by you all for this challenge so we would be delighted if you had the time to join us :)
Speaking about the dt gang, the other ladies has created some real beautiful cards and projects too. Visit them as well and let them know they are rocking :D

GDT Whiff of joy: Handsome Ben is bringing chocolates

I have to make my post a quickie today :) My hubbie is off to work, he is on call this week, and they had something planned in :( I hate it! But that´s the way life goes, hopefully he will be home again before I know it and then we are going to a furniture store. We are looking for a new dining table and some matching chairs. I´m sure it will change how I see my house. We have a big open space and everything is tied togheter there and to see those uggly old things makes me feel...well...tired of them :o
Would you look at that, and I promised to keep it short...

I created this easelcard yesterday featuring the amazingly cute Valentine Ben from Whiff of joy. I was so happy to hear both Nora and Ben would be back again in this valentine collection :) The sentiment says "Two hearts that beats as one" and is from the Wedding sentiments kit. In my mind there´s no company put there with so many great sentiment kit´s as Whiff of joy. They always seem to have a on in store ;)  I made an attempt at a card suitable for a guy but I ended up adding flowers and lace anyway. ;) Well, I just can´t leave without them :)

I wish you all a great day! Thank´s for your visit and I´m so happy to see my latest postings have so many comments. I live for those ;) ;) ha,ha!

(The one that says "Love letter", the other one is from Magnolia)

GDT Whiff of joy: Henri with heart balloon

Yesterday I got happy mail from Katharina, the owner of Whiff of joy. As I have written about before she recently realeased a Valentine collection with 6 new beautiful stamps and some adorable new dies. Those of you whom are followers or readers on a regular basis knows about my love for Henri, illustrated by Alison Acton. You should have seen me doing the happy dance, my hubby was laughing at me totally amazed about my happiness "couse of some stamps". He obviously has no idea what he´s talking about! ;)

Well, today I´d like to show case my very first Valentine card for 2011. I think Henri is cuter than ever holding on to his heartballoon. Maybe he´s off to a romantic dinner with the love of his life, Betty? :D  Now I can´t wait to paint the rest of them lovelys :)

Tilda is longing for spring to arrive

This little divine Tilda has been in my collection for quite som time now and I adore her, I just havn´t had the time to ink her up :o I went to a scrapmeeting yesterday evening at Scraproom in Helsinborg. They arrange courses and meetings during the evenings sometimes and I don´t really know what to think about that..I have never been at a meeting happening between 4.30 pm - 10.30 pm. On one hand I had the whole day with my family first but I was pretty tired when I got home ;) I guess I´m going to have to try it again to make up my mind for sure ;) *ha,ha*
I´m sure about one thing though! :D They sure had lot´s of goodies in store for us! I think I mighthave gone a bit overboard - like always ;) Amongst other things I bought the green checkered ribbon and I´m totally loving it! I think it´s soooo cute :) Not many cardmakers attended, the scrapbookers outnumbered us easily but I loved all the embellies I could chose from in the shop :) I tend to have lot´s of decorations on my cards so it´s important to find new ones ;)

Both Tilda and I are longing for spring now! I know we still have a veeeeeery long way to go before then but I feel a lot better not thinking about that. I know lot´s of you love the heavy snow we have got this year but..I feel like I´m done with it now. It can melt away any day...
I´m entering this easelcard over at Just Magnolia where they´re challening us to do just about anyhing this week, the theme is called "Anything goes". I love those challenges, fit´s perfectly after all the celebrations lately ;) If you never have entered their challenge before you should definately try it now. :) The dt has some awesome samples for us to inspire from :) The same goes for the talented dt:s at Totally Tilda challenges where it´s all about using ribbons and roses on our projects and I did so I´m entering this card there as well :)

Well, I´ve been babbling a lot today..*sorry*..
Hope you had the energy to read all anyway ;)
