Charming at LLC
Hi there friends and followers!
Hope you're enjoying your weekend? Mine has been a wild mixture of the continuance of renovations to our house, giving medicine to the kids, watching a great swedish thriller to creating this card. Everything is all good, however Id love to leave the medicine part out. Hopefully they will both feel much better next week.
So sunday already ha? Woah, time flies. I know I write that a lot but really?
Well sunday means its my turn to try and inspire you all over at the lovely Live and Love crafts blog. The weekly theme is CHARMS and my fellow DT members has created some truly adorable and charming projects all week so don't miss out ;)
I want to showcase another birthday card I made for a very treasured friend (gosh, I hope she misses out on this post, her birthday is not until next week ;) lol)
I have colored up one of my absolute fav stamps, she´s from Whiff of joy. She is called Musing Melinda and was part of a collection E. Bell illustrated years ago called Guardian Angels. Im so happy she's part of my collection. I actually don't know if she´s still for sale somewhere ;)
I have all the products I used from LLC listed at the end of this post, just click the pic and it takes you right to the very spot. I just want to mention a few things. As I told you about earlier this week Sandra is having a clearance sale atm and there are some truly amazing finds to be made. For an example I used flowers from Magnolia called vintage orchids on here and they are part of the sale - such a bargain! I also just have to tell you about the overly gorge charm! I could get poor only from buying all of the new charms available...there are sooooo many! ;)
Im also entering this card into the current sketch challenge with the amazingly talanted ladies over at CLP Challenges. The sketch for february looks like this:
Even the sketch it self is beautiful, don't you think? ;) lol!

A gift from the heart (LLC challenge: Tinas sketch)
WHHHHOOOOP WHOOOOOOP!
Finally time for some LLC Challenge fun again!
I have had a dreadful week, both kids has been ill and now Im exhausted. Mum do this, mum do that, mum this and mum that and the little one...she started to cry the second I put here down to rest my back. This has been one of those weeks I would rather have erased from my memory ;) lol!
The challenge for february is to create something after this lovely sketch by DT member Tina, isn't it just lush? I know I would have had so much fun if I had the time to really indulge myself but thats hard when the kiddos are feeling sick. I will definately use it again another time when Im not that stressed out, its a keeper :)

Alma´s sewing room now available in the LLC store

Love and Lace (DOC #44)
WHOOOOOP WHOOOOOOP!
Oh...so Im here to let you in on the new theme over with us at Deep Ocean challenges :) It such an easy peasy one, at least for all of us romantics ;) Its time for LOVE and LACE folks :)
So i told you about Signes birthday celebration invitations this weekend. This is for the second little girl named Lilja, she turns five and will celebrate at an indoor play land. I have used one of the Tilda's from the latest Magnolia collection and she's such a sweetheart, don't you think? She is colored with my di´s on 300 g watercolor paper by The Langton, I bought it at Hjerteboden and you can find it here. The heartstamp I used as a background behind Tilda is also a Magnolia stamp thatI stamped it using Spun sugar and the sentiment is also by Magnolia. The big lush rose is from Prima and the tulips is by Magnolia as well. The frame is by Tim Holtz. The letters are by Prima and I bought the lace at the Magnolia store in Borås. Papers are all Magnolia and I have sewn the edges as well as Ive given them a bit of di crackle paint picket fence a little here and there. The heart shape is cut with my Cameo.
The doily is from Live and Love crafts and while we are on that subject...

With this little miss....easter bliss
Whoot Whoot!
Im back again today! This is my weekly post for Live and Love crafts and the theme for this week is "Anything but square", pls. head over to the amazing LLC blog to check out the awesome creations my lovely teamies has made throughout the week.
As you can see I decided to make an easter basket, my first easter creation of this year. Its been cut out with my beloved Cameo. The Tilda is another oldie but goldie and has been colored with my absolute fav medium, di´s. Sandra stocks a lot of the di pads, I have added all the links to the products Ive added to my project at the end of this post, just click the picture and it will take you right there.
I have used the colors:
Skin: Tattered rose, Vintage photo (cheeks: Spun sugar, Worn lipstick, Barn door)
Hair: Antique linen, Vintage photo, Walnut Stain
Dress: Antique linen, Scattered straw and for shading Walnut stain
Shoes: Vintage photo, Walnut stain and Antique linen.
Bow: Spun sugar, Victorian Welvet.
Basket: Vintage photo, Walnut stain and a hunch of Black soot.
Eggs: Weathered Wood, Tattered rose.
The designer paper is from Pion Design and is called "Newly hatched" and is part of the gorgeous Fairytale of spring collection.
