Louise YOU ARE HERE
Now Id like to show you what I made to congratulate my fav store on its first birthday!
I dont know why but as I think birthday I immediately also come to think about cake. Do you? I bet you don't? Im such a sucker for all things that includes sugar...;) lol!
So I decided to bake another paper creation and here it is:
Sandy asked us to create something using our very own LLC favorites and oh my gawd... I wonder what she was thinking cause I would be good to go if I could just place the whole store on top here. Seriously! Unfortunately this cake could only bear so much ;) I cut it out using my beloved Silhouette Cameo. The papers Ive used is a Maja Design 12*12 sheet called 2nd of May. I just adore everything cute and girly and thats what this paper is to me. Those cherry flowers are just...beyond amazing looking me thinks. The big Magnolia was part of the most recent collection "Special moments". The mini Magnolia on top is an oldie but goldie. I colored them both using my di pads. Ive used three different laces and well, Sandra stocks so many I could hardly choose between them. I felt as I was bad to the other laces by not using them (they are my babies..). Pls, promise not to tell! The one on top is fairly new in stock and is called "Pearl lace with beads" and it adds that exclusive, elegant feel to anything I think. Its not that broad either so it fits on here perfectly on the first layer. The one I used in the middle, "Pearl lace" is just so eye-catching. And the third one, the "Old country rose" is just amazing in its color. Not to bright more ash rose and it adds to that vintage, shabby feeling and I love that! The frame I used with the number one inside is by Melissa Frances and Im just digging everything resin. Its not white, white if you know what I mean. Its been treated so that it looks old and thats why i love that. And then the charm...dont get me started on that hollow love heart because then you could stay here all day! Its wonderful in it self but if you add a little gesso it just pops! And then the cute wings on each side. mmm...The rolled roses from Kort og Godt I added just because in my mind they are the most beautiful. Kind of easy looking but very elegant. Thats a tricky feeling to achieve and they do the trick! The green apples, the lilac flower sprays and the mini shabby bark heart is just way to shabbotaged not to use :) Do you see the big UTTERLY LUSH white flower from Prima? Ohhhhh....stunning beyond words, that pearl in the middle and the sheer fabric - it screams my name! ;)
Heres some more close ups so you can see for your self ;)
I sure hope you found my birthday cake inspiring :)
Now you're on your way and should hop on to my former teamie, Elizabeth. I was so happy when Sandra announced that lovely and utterly talanted Elizabeth would join us once again. Im sure she has a special treat ready for you all Elizabethised ;) lol!
Lots of love,
