This is the card I made, the challenge for the month of april is to follow this amazing sketch made by Christina. I had so much fun working with it :)

With this little miss - easter greetings at MDUC

Good evening (or good morning to my aussie friends ;)) 

WHOOOOOT WHOOOOOOOT!! 

Time for another challenge with us at Magnolia Down Under and this week, very suitable our challenge is EASTER GREETINGS. 

I chose to work with my all time fav Magnolia easter stamp again. Isn't she just adorable? Its one of those I know for sure I will use again and again ;) 

She was planned to be dressed in green to match the beyond lush dp´s also from Magnolia but then I saw my teamie Debbie's card in the pre post and my lord...well, lets put it like this. Her card is like...amazing and then some and she used the same stamp and colored her green so I thought I would not since theres like no chance in hell I can play in the same division ;) lol! 

There are some beautiful pink flowers on the dp as well so I chose to color her in pink nuances and poor Tilda was colored in my couch in the evening with obviously just a tinch of light and she got a tan. There was no time for me to do it all over again so come on, lets pretend! She literarily just got of the plane for the Canary Islands ;) he, he, he! I will never try that again ;) I like living on the edge though ;) 

So in spite of Tildas "lovely" tan I hope I have inspired you to join us. We would love it if you could! We are so thankful each week to see so many entries and they are all awesome, I love to hop around to get to know you all. 

I also thought I would mention that I appreciate all of the lovely emails and messages asking me how my girlies are doing. Thats just so cute! 

They are improving but sadly they did spread it, so now I have a cold. But better me than any of them.. 

Bring on spring!  Im soooo more than ready...

LLC Challenge march: Easter

Hi there friends and followers! 

Wow!! We have the most amazing sunny day in Sweden today! Oh, how I have longed for the yummy sun to show its vibrant face :) Welcome spring! 

I'm also very happy to welcome you here to let you know all about the new Live and Love crafts challenge! Our theme for the month of march is EASTER and this is what I created. 

I have coloured up a new tooooo adorable little ballerina bunny Tilda from Magnolia, you can see her up close here: 

I choose to color her to resemble our very own little buddy: Thumper. Thumper is already two years old and here he is together with my daughter Signe. Thumper is a little black, beige, "yellow" and grey. He's a real sweetheart and allows us to really cuddle him. 

I guess its no surprise to anybody these days that Im such a sucker for Pion Design papers? Sandy made us all a huge favor and decided to restock these BEAUTIFUL easter themed papers from the "Fairytale of spring" collection. I used the one with these adorable chicks called "Newly hatched". (You can click the link in my Inlinkz gallery at the end of my post and it will take you there in an instant. Sandy also has purchased a lot of new items lately, for instance some really lovely laces. A check up at the Live and love crafts store is in place if its been a while. My teamies have created the most adorable makes for this challenge for you all to inspire from. As always theres something for everybody, a little vintage, a little shabby!

Happy Easter with little Tilda

Finally I´m back again :) And it feels so good!

Well, it feels like I haven´t crafted since like... forever but it has only been a week ;) I have had these periods with less or no mojo before but they have all lasted for less time than this one. And it´s been such a strange feeling. I really wanted to craft but my legs just wouldn´t carry me :o I tried everything: cleaning and organising my little space, take little walks by the table, forced my self to ink some images but they just didn´t seem to fit anywhere. And then yesterday it happened! I got the most beautiful card from my blogfriend Maritha, she had made me what she called a mojoback card :)

Big thanks Maritha! I love it!  ♥

You know what? I still get amazed by the lovely and generous peeps that enjoys scrapbooking and cardmaking every single day. If it´s not a kind and loving comment left for me here it´s happy mail from all over the world and it makes me so happy! I have the bestest friends ♥ in you :)

Well enough said about my little off road trip ;)

I made this joy fold card yesterday :) I got the most amazing looking Maggie stamps from the new collection called "Butterfly dreams". Since Stämpelgården no longer exists I thought I´d order them from another country since the stamps always seem to be in stock a lot sooner then here in Sweden. Thought I´d try Bunny Zoe´s craft and it worked like a charm! They arrived in my mailbox early this week :) Superfast delivery!

I have finally tried out a new technique I´ve been wanting to do since I first saw this amazing tutorial by my very treasured friend Kylie. She teatches us how to use our border dies around our images in an easy, quick and very beautiful way! Thank´s hun! :)

Materials:

Paper: white and light yellow bazill basic cs, patterned paper from Making memories.

Stamps: Bubble bath from Lily of the valley

Tools: sewing machine, nesties classic circles from Spellbinders, Magnolia doo hickey die "Swedish lace" (around the stamped image), distressed all edges with tool from TH.

Embellies: flowers from WOC, stickles Star dust, ribbon from Panduro, alphabet stickers from Basic Grey.

Colored with distressers on 300 g watercolor paper.
