DT Fuzzy Wuzzy Challenges #7: Babies!

It is time for a new challenge over at Fuzzy Wuzzy challenges today. and boy do we have a lovely theme picked out for you! Babies - either of or for! That´s right, we want you to create something beautiful with babies in mind :) And of course: as a focal point: an animal or critter! Otherwise it wouldn´t be fuzzy nor wuzzy ;)

We are being sponsered by a lovely stamp company this month called House Mouse. Their stamps are so cute and it´s been a pleasure working with one of them. An dlet me tell you, with those adorable images you will probably see more of those mice in here pretty soon ;)

I wanted to make something diffrent than a card for this challenge and remembered a great tutorial I have been dying to try for quite long now. It shows us how to make a baby pram :) The turorial is made by my very sweet and generous friend, Maya and you can all find it here :) She has lot´s of easy to follow tutorials for us and some of the most beautiful work I´ve ever seen so don´t miss out!

I have to admit I struggled a bit with this pram though ;) Especially with the canopy ;)

DT Fuzzy Wuzzy: Mid month reminder

I can´t belive the way time flies by! It´s already time for us Fuzzy Wuzzies to post our mid months reminders, feels like a few days ago I wrote about our photo inspiration challenge ;)

It´s 1th of april today and that means lot of practical jokes here in Sweden. We try to fool each other by telling the most strang things...Is it like that in your country to? Well other than that it also means me and my lovely teamies in  the Fuzzy wuzzy gang is posting a new challenge for you all today :) This time we´d like to see you create after looking at our inspirational pic. I have finally tried out a new technique I´ve been wanting to do since I first saw this amazing tutorial by my very treasured friend Kylie. She teatches us how to use our border dies around our images in an easy, quick and very beautiful way! Thank´s hun! :)

DT Fuzzy Wuzzy mid month reminder: Birthday wishes

Hi ya all :)

I´m here to tell you all you still have 2 more weeks left to enter our on going challenge over at Fuzzy Wuzzy, we want to see your projects made for birthday celebrations :) Besides that it should also feature an animal/critter in focus. One of our teamies, the amazingly talanted and Kellie, owner and founder of Tickled pink stamp is very genourosly sponsoring us with a superfab prize consisting of either 2 digis OR one rubber stamp of your choice!! I have used one of these fab stamps named Mollie Mittens with flower on my card for todays reminder post. I think she is the sweetest thing! :) I just saw that Kellie has decided to add another price: one winner will recieve this wonderful Mollie stamp! 

 I felt like trying a fold I have never done before and my choice was a tent card. If you haven´t tried this fold you definately should - very easy and so much fun. I made it after Sandie´s tutorial found here.

This is actually a birthday card for my daughter Signe, she turns four in may so still some time til then but when I laid eyes on stunning Mollie I immeditely knew I wanted her to feature this card. Both Signe and I are true pink lovers so the colorcombo was not a hard choice ;) The sentiment is in swedish and comes from Inkido. It says:

"Remember yesterday, dream about tomorrow but live today". I´m pretty sure she won´t understand the context but this is a saying I try to live after myself. Not always easy but surely something to think about :)

DT Fuzzy Wuzzy Mid month reminder for January :)

I made this birthday card for a little girl that turns one very soon ;) My choice of image fell on this cutie called Mina, the celebrating cangaroo from Whiff of joy. Have you seen the little baby riding safely in the care of it´s mother? Makes my heart skip a beat ;) I have also put one of my favourite dies to good use also from Whiff of joy, namely the Pennants. The patterned papers are from an oldie but goldie paper pad called Kioshi from Basic Grey.

DT Fuzzy Wuzzy Challenges December: Christmas something or An-Otter

Hi there :)

Today is my very first posting as a fuzzy wuzzy little designer and I´m so exited! It´s a huge honour for me to be invited to contribute :) I started off with a lovely image of Henri Maus when he´s on his way to grab a really good snack ;) The wonderful the cirlcled stamp with a coffeecup also comes from Whiff of joy.

I used a lot of the new patterned papers by Maja Design´s collection "Skall vi fika"?. Love the combination of brown and pink. :)

We´d love to see you all take part so go grab your gear and get busy. All you need to do is feature your project or card with an animalimage and make it christmasy. ;) (Is that even a word? Well, it is now! ;) ;))

I have some greeeeaaaat news!

Do you remember the hit by Kylie Minouge ( a nice blast from the past ;)) where she declares she´s the happiest girl in the world? It´s been on my mind all day long ;) I have found a very treasured friend in blogland a few months ago from Australia also named Kylie. She is the sweetest thing and she creates pure wonders :) Besides that she made me a very lucky girl yesterday when I recieved an email from her inviting me to contribute to The Fuzzy Wuzzy Challenges. It´s an honour for me so of course I said yes!

I love the idea behind the blog: to enter you have to create a card/project that features an animal. The critter/animal has to be in focus! Isn´t that just fab?

We used to own a flatcoated retriever called Beckham, we miss him dearly and we will probably get a new one when Signe is a bit older :) Both me and my hubby has a big love for animals so it suits like a glove ;)

Right now Kylie and the rest of the talanted ladies have a mid way reminder and you can still enter the current challenge with the theme: seasonal projects. Make a card or project typical for summer, fall, spring or winter and enter :) The prizes you can win is just fab! :) That´s a reason good as any to participate!
