Midway reminder for CLP

Good morning fellow crafters, friends and followers!

I hope you are all doing fine? I can´t believe we are headed towards autumn with huge steps now! Its been an awesome summer in Sweden though and our vaccy week in Turkey was amazing but still...being the summer lover I am its a bit tough the thought of a looong autumn and an even loooonger  winter before things are looking up again. Please..I don't want the usual comments like: "Oh, but hun...it is so awe to be able to sit in the sofa (I don't know about you but I do that all year long...?) and just enjoy a good tv show (eh hello? During summer its communion singing on tv - is that during autumn maybe?) and look at those amazing candles. (Again..I enjoy candles on my patio as often as the swedish summer allows it and during summer you can stay outside all nite if you like...) Im aware there are people that enjoys autumn because the trees are so beautiful as the leaves turn. Okay, so you are right about that BUT! Im a full-time mum and hardly get to actually look at the trees AND..that lasts like 2 minutes in Sweden...after that its here...the dreaded raiiiiiin...leaving leaves everywhere you're going and let me tell you - that eventually smells...not good! ..and the raiiiin...doesnt ever stop...until its snow...
urgh..you get the picture ha? Oh come on mother nature, please keep it summer for a while more?!

To keep my summery feeling a bit longer I created a really summer like card for the midway reminder over at the CLP Challenge blog. Adorable Chelsea always creates THE most amazing sketches for us all and here´s what the one for august looks like:

Isn't that just gorge? You simply have to come join us, promise! You do not want to miss out. Sketches are an amazing thing, I find that following an actual sketch cuts my craft time in half for each card. Its great the feeling of not having to think on my own (at least some times ;)) And with a sketch like this, who can really go wrong? If you need more inspiration my amazingly talented teamies has created some beautiful creations, check them out here

Okay, so this is one of my fav Tilda's, I know I say that almost every time but it is! She´s one of those that has grown on me, she was not amongst my first batch from this collection ;) She is just so cute standing there with that cross on her chest and the arms behind her back.
The frantage I used is the shabby pink one and I sprinkled it a little here and there. Its around Tilda, on the sentiments I cut out with Magnolia Doo hickeys, the beloved little cherub, the key and some of the edges of the patterned papers. The sentiments are so loved by me, I use them a lot, you can find them in the Little Darling Rubberstamp store. Tilda is inked with my Copics. The patterned papers are also Magnolia. Oh and let me tell you: I´ve used a LOT of goodies I was lucky enough to recieve from dearest Chelsea the same day as I decorated this card. The cherub is hers, the cute, cute small flowers (I bet they are handmade!), the lilly, the lace and the cute to the boot key! Thank you Chels, I loooove it all!

I hope you will like my make and I have maybe inspired you to take the step and join us?
I hope to see you there! Lots of love

Surprise for Camilla S! For a boy at MDUC + midway reminder CLP

Hi friends and followers!

Id like to, as always, wish you welcome here but today I want to wish one of my dearest friends Camilla Stöen Bakke an extra hearty welcome! We have had something special planned for months now and its FINALLY time! Time for us all to once again join in and hold virtual hands and give virtual hugs as our second MDUC  surprise babyshower goes live!

SURPRISE CAMILLA!!!!!

As some of you may know Camilla is going to be a mum any day now. She is expecting a little boy that is going to be named Maximilian. Isn't that the cutest name? Oh, I simply cannot wait to see pictures of this little sweetheart but I will just have to wait. Theres no rushing mother nature ;) lol Its a little extra emotional for me because it takes me back to this time last year when the amazing MDUC team had planned the first baby shower for me and little Ella! I was soooo surprised and I have never had anyone do something quit this special for me before so I know first hand what this means to Camilla, its out of this world, Camilla! Don't you think?

Besides creating something special for Camilla us in the DT have had the option to work after a tic tac toe board created by yours truly. Since its mine Ive added all the things I love in this board so no surprise I went all in! ;) Here´s what the board looks like:

So our thinking is that if you want to join in our celebration you create something, anything with the theme "For a boy" in mind. It doesn't have to be a creation for a newborn baby boy it can be anything for a boy. We also have the option of using the tic tac toe board but you don't have to. We would be so happy if you could join in, we are nothing without you guys and your amazing entries :)

The card i made is also my midway reminder for the greatest sketch challenge ever (if I may say so myself ;) Good job, Chelsea)) and to join in you have to create using this lush sketch:

Before I go to take a look at all of the AMAZING creations made by my fellow teamies here I want to share some more close ups. My choice of image is Baby Tilda and I colored her with my di´s on 300 g watercolor paper. I made a shaker box for him to rest in so he is all cuddly and comfy ;) I made the box frame with spellbinder classic and scalloped oval dies. The glitter inside the box is from You do. I also added stickles to the cute wings and the lace on the stamped image. The gold, white and blue sprinkles are made with frantage "Shabby blue". Ive used an alphabet die from TH for Sizzix and its called "Typeset" to spell out Maximilian.

The gorge dim blue seambinding and lace goes perfect together with the beautiful rattle charm I bought at the Magnolia store in Borås some time ago. The broad light blue lace behind the image is bought from Ebay and the white one is by Live and Love crafts and so is quit may other embellies. I cant stay away from them they are just to shabby and awesome! Ive added a gallery of the LLC stuff I used at the end of this posting via Inlinkz.

The papers are by Pion design and are part of the "Studio of memories" collection.

The flowers are from WOC, Ive really tried my best to contain my desire to go nuts with flowers here since its for a little boy, but hey...he´s tiny and so these three doesn't count ;) lol Flowers are my fav embellie so it took some strength ;)

The circular stamp is from Kort og godt and I first noticed it when it was part of one of the surprises made for me last year. It was from my beloved teamie Janne and she had used it on this beautiful paper piece of cake she made me:

I loved it already back then and ever since we found out Camilla was pregnant I had planned to buy one for myself and use it on her creation as its in Norwegian and will be perfect. I have a feeling I will use it a lot more over and over. Our languages swedish and norwegian are no that different from each other. It says " A little angel" and we used to spell ängel like that before here so it just looks like early on swedish - cool! I also had that die from before and had forgotten all about it and thought it would be a fun way to make it look the same. Of course I had to add some Frantage though! Thank you so much for you never stopping inspiration Janne.

I hope you will like my creation and Camilla, I hope it will land in your postbox very soon along with a little pressie. GOOD LUCK!

MDUC Anything goes meets CLP sketch

Good evening and welcome here!

Tonight Im doing a combined post, both for Magnolia Down Under challenges which has the lovely theme of Anything goes and its also my midway reminder for CLP sketch challenge where the lush sketch for June looks like this:

My creation is the last graduation card of this year. Its for our neighbors oldest daughter Isabelle. She graduated this past tuesday and we wanted to wish her good luck with whatever she choses to do next.
I chose to work with my new fav color (well...as you can see theres still splashes of pink on there or else Id be ill ;)) lilac. Its Isabelles fav so that worked out perfectly.
Before I leave you I want to show you some more close ups:

Now, do not forget to join us. We would be delighted if you did!
Hurry on over to the challengeblogs to take a look at the beyond stunning creations made by my fellow teamies :)

Midway reminder for CLP

Welcome to my place!
Can you believe its already mid may??? Im just stunned about it myself ;)
Well, mid may equals mid way! lol! Time for a little reminder.
There is still time to enter the current sketch challenge over at Crafting lifes pieces blog and heres the may sketch:

Isn't it just gorge?

I made a card featuring another oldie but Goldie Tilda from Magnolia again. Im so enjoying those atm and telling myself I need to put them to good use. Im so in love with this adorable little bee.
This card is made especially for a friend in blogland. I received the most amazing creation from Manuela after Ella was born and OMG! Time flies and I still haven't sent out personalized thank you´s to everybody yet...:( Im so ashamed! Don't worry, they are coming sweeties! Im hoping this has reached Manuela by now but Im afraid it hasn't since I just colored her up yesterday...oooops ;) lol! Wishful thinking might do the trick.

Pls before you go, do not forget to swing by the CLP blog and look at the beyond gorge creations by my lovely teamies.
I hope I have inspired you to join us? We would love to see you there :)

CLP midway reminder

Hiya all and welcome here!
This is my second posting as a very proud CLP DT member and this month Im on time too - rofl! ;)
All jokes aside - gosh that feels nice! :)
As always the sketch in it self is out of this world beautiful ;) This is what it looks like:

I made this card featuring the most adorable little Tilda, isnt she adorable looking over her shoulder like that? I made a card where I colored her just like that and placed her on that very same spellie too but I was never quit happy about it but I love the image so I thought I should give it another try ;) I think the biggest difference was all that amazing Frantage I added to the edges ;)

You can see the frantage and my coloring really well here.

The sentiment is also a Magnolia. So are the keys I cut out using a die called "Vintage keys". A little heart charm to match Tildas heart, some seam binding and a blue rhinestone.

Heres a view of that broad beautiful pink lace, it was a gift for my birthday from a beloved friend. Thank you so much Elise, I love it so much I hardly didnt have the heart to use it ;)
The light pink flower with the blue rhinestone is bought at the Magnolia store in Borås. All the other flowers are WOC.

Thank you so much for checking in with me today!
Lots of love

Inspired by a picture at LLC and midway reminder at CLP

Good morning friends and followers!

Today Im actually a bit ashamed...a while ago I received the most amazing email! Be calm, thats so not why Im blushing right now..Anyways, it was from a beloved and much admired friend namely Chelsea. Im sure you already know about her - her style is through the roof beautiful and vintage and shabby and all the things I love :) She is also the owner of the most awesome sketch challenge blog there is, CLP challenges. I have always done my very best to enter each month because the sketches only are so lush and inspirational and lets face it. We all get stuck sometimes and theres nothing better to help but a great sketch! Therefore I was ecstatic when reading her email, she wanted to add me to her design team and let me tell you I didn't even have to consider that two seconds! Its a YES!
She already had a great dt but as some of them decided it was time to move on not only me but a lot of my most treasured friends in blogland got the same invite. Im so proud to be working alongside these gorge ladies. But then it happened..I chose to be on the reminder post midmonth and that was this friday right? OMG!! My poor little ladies had been ill again and I totally couldnt contribute in time so thats what Im ashamed of. My very first CLP post and I miss out!! Can you believe it! Well, yesterday hubby was at home to and took the little ladies so I could get down and crafty! I decided on making my first CLP card but since its luckily sunday its also my turn to host the gorge LLC blog and I did a combo this time.

Over at LLC we have been busy with interpreting an inspirational picture this week. As always I want to remind you to also look at the adorable creations my teamies has done too while you're there. Its amazing how many ways there is to interpret a picture.
The picture is courtesy of a swedish interior design shop called Ljuva hem, in Nödinge, Sweden. Adorable ha? Right up my alley ;)

It was so easy to sit and create, I had that flow again. Sandra really is so generous and she stocks like..everything i want! The only hard part is to decide on what to use because she now stocks even more gorge embellies! I used some of them on my card. You can see them listed at the bottom of my post but just to mention some, check out that amazing gingham ribbon (sigh..gorge!) and the big lush lace. Not to mention the flower spray! Sooooo my new addiction! Image is Magnolia Tilda and I colored her with my di´s on 300 g watercolor paper.

And since its a combo I followed this luscious sketch at CLP, we would love it if you could come join us! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ASKING ME Chelsea, its a huge honor and I promise: next time I wont be late! Check out the pics below for more of my creation up closer:

Thank you all so much lovelies for checking in with me!
It means so much!
Lots of love,
