MDUC Jane´s choice: Black and white image

Hi and welcome Magnolia lovers ;)
Tonight is the launch of an all new challenge over at Magnolia Down Under and this week the choice of theme was up to my very dear friend Jane. And her choice is...hold on to your seats..fasten those seat belts because it is...BLACK AND WHITE IMAGE.
If you are anything like me you love a good challenge, you know the challenges that are just that...the ones that really challenges you and this was one of those for me. Ive never colored in b&w before and as I was going in with my black soot on Tilda's face I first thought it looked pretty ridiculous. I have colored in sepia though and I kind of felt the same way my first time doing that so I knew I´d better hang in there and as Im finished now I think its pretty fabulous - you HAVE to try it!
And hey..when you're all done reading my post (thank you :)) you have to promise me to head on over to the MDUC blog to look at the amazing creations made by my lovely teamies. I can see why Jane chose this theme, its obviously dear to her heart - her inking blows me away! It looks like a very old photograph! :)

Today is still saturday here in Sweden and so Id like to CONGRATULATE my uncle Tonny as he has married the love of his life today. Im so happy for them both. The lucky lady is Tina and so that´s why the banner says T&T. They make pretty good dynamite ;) ;) ! Good luck in your future life together. Here they are together after the ceremony:

As you can see its Tina there on the front and I also chose to work with two Magnolia sentiments. Its the LOVE one behind Tilda..eh..Tina and the one on the spellbinder die is just so adorable don't you think? Its not only that its also true. The beautiful roses are by WOC and they are all pretty amazing gifts. Thank you so much dearest Camilla H. I love them! Ive also tried my beloved orchid doo hickey die for the first time and the amazing light lilac wellum was a gift from amazing Jane. Thanks hunni for fixing me up! :) The lovely seam binding and clay heart are from my fav store Live and love crafts. The papers are by...omgosh..I wish I knew, bought them a biz-zillion years ago ;) The fran-tage is called aged rose. Lock by Melissa Frances and charms from the Magnolia store in Borås. Before I go I want to show you some more pics.

I have had some questions lately regarding what I do with the rest of my cards ;) Do I always / never decorate the back and inside? And if I do, with what?
As I love getting questions asked heres the answers. Yes, I do most often decorate the inside and backside of the cards / projects I make. And I ALWAYS do it the same way, thats why I hardly ever show you because then yo might tire of me ;)
For the backside I use the same layout with papers as I do on the front, I also add a personal rubber-stamp that I bought from Whismy stamps years ago - its still going strong - I love it!

For the inside I use similar papers as back and front but I like to chose some that are slightly different. And of course for the inside I always add some nice sentiments and a personal greeting. Heres the inside of todays card for Tonny and Tina. These are not stamped, Ive made them both on my computer and just printed them out.

Thank you so much for being here today!
Be sure to come back tomorrow for my weekly inspirational posting for LLC.
Its the lovely theme of "Inspired by a song" and the song is...now I got you seriously hocked ha??
He, he, he!

Fussy and fancy at LLC

Hello there everybody!

Its finally sunday again and that means Im hosting todays posting over at the Live and love crafts blog - yay! Our theme this week is Fussy and fancy and if theres any card you can make however fancy and fussy you want its a wedding themed one ha? I never have trouble adding details, however to stop at the right time can be a bit challenging. After all you are supposed to see the image ;) lol!

I received a lovely quest from a lady this week that asked if I wanted to make her daughter a wedding card. Now theres something to think about? NOT! he, he, he!
As her daughter gets married during the easter holidays coming up she wanted some easter stuff on there and bits and pieces of yellow. I added some cute daffodils and used a dp from Pion design called Newly hatched. White is otherwise the color I immediately think of when hearing the word wedding so I also decided to add loads of white details.
I used two of the new gorge laces that Sandy only recently added to her stock. You can find them in the LLC store amongst so many other amazing details. If you want to you can browse til the end of my posting to the inlinkz gallery where you just click the pic and it will take you right there. The one with hearts alongside my image is called "Amour". Isn't it just beautiful??
I hope she will treasure this for her daughter. I sure enjoyed making it.

Lots of love

Love is still in the air: present card

WOW! I like this being off work thing ;) My craft mojo is raising high and I can´t wait to get it on again tonight ;) He,he,he!

My hubby called me yesterday asking if I could make two cards for his coworker, her name is Jeanette. Of course I can I said...then hubby informed me it is for two very special occasions, one wedding and one baptism. YAY! And...they had to be finished by thursday! That is quick knowing I can only create on the evenings or well..when my little sunshine has gone to bed ♥ ;) And for two that special occasions. A "regular" card takes like two evenings for me (one for inking and one for putting it all togheter, but then an evening is between 19.30 and 22 for me. What can I say, sleep is important for me and my functioning and my sunshine is always bright and shiny early ;)) But I couldn´t pass on this opportunity, I love to help people out making somebodys day extra special ;)
I thought long and hard about this weddingcard, I wanted something special and I felt like trying out a new fold. Then I came to think off the splendid lady named Dena whom posted a lovely tutorial on her blog some time ago about how to make a Present card. I was so amazed by her beauiful card and wanted to make my own right away! So now I have tried it out :) Thank´s for a stunning tutorial hunny!
I feel satisfied, now I´m hoping Jeanette will be too :)
Thank you for visiting me today and for all your sweet, sweet words, the mean a lot to me :)

Bröllopskort till vänner ♥ / Congrats on your wedding ♥

*****************************************************************
Hi there friends :)
Yesterday morning my loving hubby told me he was taking our little daugther out on an adventure, that ment I had the whole day to my self. :) Of course I chose to craft ;) Love my hubby, he´s the best ♥

Right now some friends of mine went on a trip to Greece to get married. Can you imagine that? So romantic ♥ Getting married in the sand on the beach, I could think of something worse ;)
I made an easel card for them, which will await them in the mailbox when they arrive home. I love easel cards, they are so much easier to put on display, if the recievers would like to.
I made a frame around the card using one of my MS borderpunches, "Daisy". The patterned paper comes from Prima and is sewed on already when you buy it. I still havn´t dared to use my sewing machine on a card yet, but I will ;) The other patterned paper with the traveltheme comes from.....somewhere else? ;) Sorry :( The little frame comes from Melissa Frances and the alphabet stickers in that comes from MME. The alphabet stickers on the bottom comes from Jenny Bowlin. I bought all of the Magnolia stamps at Stämpelgården. The same goes for the Magnolia dies (leafs and tag) and the halfpearls. Flowers from WOC. The pearlpin is bought at Panduro Outlet.

I hope you are all well :) I have lot´s to look forward to :) This weekend I´m finally meeting some of my dearest craftingfriends again ♥
A huge THANK YOU for all of the lovely words you left for me in your comments. ♥
