DT Deep Ocean challenges #1: Our very first challenge

I´m very exited to show you my card today :)

It´s made for the absolute first challenge over at Deep Ocean Challenges :) As I have written about before it´s a forthnightly challenge and for number one we would love to see your creation :) That´s right! We would like to see what you´ve been doing lately: it´s an ANYTHING GOES!
Personally I love those and I used a gorgoues stamp from Sweet Pea :) Paired her up with some absolutely fabby dp´s from Crafty Individuals with a sea theme.
It also a thank you card for one of my coworkers :) She has been offering amazing support for me and our students these two terms so I thought I´d make her something special :)
We are being sponsered by Quixotic paperie for this challenge so there will be an amazing prize up for grabs too :)
So: It would be a delight to see you come join us!

A little bit of Sweet pea...

I have made my very first card featuring a Sweet pea stamp! I bought it from Hjerteboden, a webshop in Norway. I have always been very fascinated with their looks, I think they´re simply gorgoues :) After seeing one of the cardmakers I admire most, supertalanted Camilla, ink them in a more scandinavian style I just could´t resist anymore. ;)

I can hardly belive it´s already thursday. Sometimes I feel the week is just mondays and fridays.Well...out of those somehow friday feels better! ;) So it´s a good thing it´s friday tomorrow ;)

I´m entering this card with the lovely ladies over at Sketch Saturday. You can see the sketch you need to make your on interpretation off here:

To finish off my post I ´d like to thank all of my new followers and of course all of you whom visits me on a regular basis! You have left the most sweet and encoureging words behind on my last card :) Thank you lovelies!!

Stamps: Image from Sweet pea and sentiment from Lily of the valley
Papers: patterned papers from Basic grey´s Capella collection, light yellow and grey cs
Tools: I have cut out the shape for the sentiment using a die from Whiff of joy. I have used a die from Spellbinders called "Fancy tags" on both sides, Martha Stewart butterly punch.
Embellies: Flowers from Wild Orchid crafts and Magnolia. Bling from Magnolia.
I have painted with distressers on 300 g watercolorpaper.

Have a great day!
