Busy bee

Hi everybody!

I now have about three weeks left til the baby is due! My word, it´s exiting! I sometimes feel I can´t remember anything about giving birth, it´s been five years since I did it last time. My friends keeps telling me it will come back though ;) Ha,ha,ha! I will have to do it, can´t run away now ;) Anyway, I bet you´re wondering why it´s been so quiet in here? :o
Well, since I will be away from blogland for a while around the babys birth I have decided to be prepared and finish off my creations for MDUC now and then schedule the posts! There are so many amazing challenges coming up I don´t wanna miss any ;)
Besides this my little five year old daughter and me are now on our summervacation! We are doing a little bit of this and a little bit of that so I´m kind off a busy bee right now even though no new posts goes live here at the moment I´m crafting a lot ;)

I have been taking some pictures of my precious little girl that I´d like to show you all in the meantime:

Here´s little Signe in the middle of a field busy picking flowers for this years maypole. We had terrible weather as you can see nothing summery about this picture ;)

Signe at the playground.

Baking rhubarb pie

Hugging Minnie and Mickey mouse outside the Disney store in Copenhagen.

So I´ll see you all on saturday if not before when I´m showcasing my dt card for the new challenge at MDUC.

Thank you so much for checking in with me, love Louise xXx

MDUC: Let´s play BINGO! Birthday card for Josefin

Welcome friends!

Oh, I´m so happy to see you here, today I will tell you all about our latest amazing challenge at Magnolia down under that just went live! It´s one of my fav themes this week and I will keep it a secret no longer ;) Join us in a game of BINGO!
Check out the lovely bingo board down here, pick your favorite line, grab your gear and I´m sure you will dazzle us with your amazing creations. We are looking forward to them :)

We are sponsered by Tilda´s town and there will be a gorgeous prize for our winner. :)

Now I´d like to tell you a bit about my own creation. :) I´m experiencing quite a buzy time right now with loads of special birthdays coming up! So I´m making loads of birthday cards. I´m so sad to say..one of them made it´s way back to me this week!!? I sent it at the Postoffice but obviously they had counted the postage all wrong :( But I´m glad it came back in a wa because I have had cards disseapear on me to :( I have sent it off again today from a diffrent postoffice and now I´m hoping it will reach Maritha sometime next week. So sorry hunni!

This one is for Josefine whom turned 14 yesterday. She is our neighbour, the bestest kind ;) I have teatched her in a class when she was younger so we knew the family very well before we moved here. When I gave birth to Signe, she and her friend was frequent visitors in our home. Now it´s probably more the other way around but inspite the fact she´s already 14 she takes the time to play with her every now and then :) They are a bit like sisters now five years later! And she is the worlds bestest babysitter too :) We are so glad to have her in our lifes :)
I think maybe the card turned out a bit too..childlish? :o
Well, nothing to do about that now, will have to think about it next time though ;) Signe whom was at her bithday party yesterday says she really liked it so that´s good news. :)

The patterned papers are from the most gorgeous paperpad 6*6, named "Lost and found - market street" by My minds Eye. Especially love the really romantic one with rosebuds all over. I must admit I felt a bit sad to part from it ;) Tilda was part of a release quit some time ago and is one of the ones I decided to keep as I had to sell most of them off because I have much less space now. So an absolute fav!
She is inked with di´s on 300 g watercolorpaper. The big beautiful white flower was a gift from my awesome friend, Jane. Thank you so much hunni! I lurv it!
The rest of the flowers are all by WOC. The alphabeth and number stickers are from Making memories and a whole bunch fo stuff is from the Magnolia store in Borås: such as the lace and ribbon, the MS edger punch, the tag and the sentiment I added to it, the beautiful little strawberry charm and those cute blings strings. I added loads of stickles star dust on various places of Tilda as well as I have sewn and added some DI crackle paint Picket fence on to the edges.

Now before you head on off my blog you have to promise to run over to the Magnolia down under blog to check out the AMAZING creations my teamies made for this challenge :) Marvellous!

I´d like to enter the following challenge with this card:

Cute card thursday: where you can join in by doing one or the other of the following ;) Clever I must say! Ha,ha,ha! Make a drink inspired card and or use a punch ;) It´s my first time joining in :)

Thank you so much for checking in with me today!
Makes me so happy! An extra big thanks to those who end up leaving me some love before you head off :)

Shaker card for my mother featuring cute miss Melinda from WOJ

Oh my! This is my second posting in as many days ;) It was a long time since I did that but I´m having so much fun crafting! :)

Today I´d like to showcase another birthday card :) I made this one for my mother, she turn 61 on june 18th. She is really into black but...I was very selfish making this as it has all of the elements I love myself ;) Ha,ha,ha!
The stamp is such a cutie and one of my all time favourites! She is illustrated by the lovely Elisabeth Bell for one of my fav companies, Whiff of joy, she was part of the Guardian Angels collection.
Today I´m kind off in a hurry so if you have any thoughts or wonderings feel more than welcome to email me about them and I will answer as soon as I can :)

With this card I want to enter the following challenges:

CLP Challenges: one of my absolute fav sketch challenges! Love to join in, their sketches are soooo lush :) This month they want us to follow this one:

Happy birthday Maritha!

Welcome everybody!

Today I´d like to showcase a card I made for a bloggingfriend of mine that is very dear to me, her name is Maritha :) She always writes me the most encouraging comments and it does mean the world to me that we have been following each other for a long time now. I do hope the card has arrived at her place by now though otherwise she will see it here first and that wouldn´t be much of a surprise, right ;) Her birthday has come and gone quit some time ago and I had a card ready that I could just add her name to but I really wanted to make something for her with her in mind and then it takes some extra time nowadays. ;) I have five weeks left of my pregnancy and right now it feels like she could come any second. She is pushing her way down, practising her big entry like a maniac. Besides this I managed to stretch my left side in some weird way and let me tell you: that hurts like giving birth ;) Ha, ha, ha! I have been sitting up sleeping this night, hope I don´t have to do the same tonight...
Well...enough of my waffling and on to Marithas card :)

I have used some truly scrummy papers that I just bought, they are by Prima and is called Fairy Belle. The only thing that bothers me sometimes with papers this lovely is the way you don´t want to cover the whole front with loads of detail. Those of you whom knows me will understand what I mean. I LOVE adding details too ;) So bit of a conflict there. I mean who could cover up that lovely fairy? And I see I have a bit ;) Ha,ha,ha! The pom pom ribbon is bought at the Magnolia store in Borås, so is the lovely Tilda that was part of a collection about two years ago I think, don´t know which one though! Absolutely adore her! She is one of the few ones I decided on holding on to as I had to minimize my stash. She is colored with di´s on 300 g watercolorpaper. All of the flowers are WOC. Now, let me tell you about how I stamped on Marithas name on that banner by Spellbinders. I made them using my latest find ;) They are also from Prima and is called Prima Press alphabeth clear stamp set which I bought here at the lovely swedish store Scraplagret
You add the letters you want to a small "box" and then you just stamp away! So cool! I have been waiting for something like this to come out, I just didn´t know about it ;)

I´d like to enter my card in the following challenges:

TOMIC: (The Official Magnolia Inspiration Challenge) They are celebrating the 1st anniversary of this lovely challenge blog by chosing a truly lovely theme: ANYTHING GOES! I love this challenge and I would have liked to join so much more often but time flies, I knew I had to this week though because: YOU CAN WIN A CARD MADE BY SOMEONE IN THE DT!!! Oh....that would be soooo scrummy! Keeping my fingers crossed!

Lovely hÄnglar or sweet Magnolia: use your favorite color sheme!
Mine is pink, blue and white with a splash of brown :) My first time joining this lovely challenge, exiting! Found it through one of my bestest blogging friends this morning, Jane.

Midweek Magnolias: ANYTHING GOES! I have joined ones before and I´m so sorry to say I have totally missed out on the fact they were arranging a dt call...So would have loved to join another Magnolia challenge ;) You can always try out :) Good luck to the new and "old" girlys there!

Now there´s nothing left for me to do but wish you all a great day!
Hope to see you soon!
Big hugs xXx

MDUC: Seeing double! Giftcard for my coworker

Hiya all of you lovelies!

Time for another fun challenge with us ladies at Magnolia Down Under tonight! This week we´d like to see you create something with the words "seeing double" in mind. Add two of the same embellies, two images, one mini and one ordinary and so on ;) Besides this the only thing you have to remember is to use something Magnolia, an image OR a doo hickey die..
We are looking forwards to seeing your beautiful creations!

I am soon on maternity leave and this friday is the last day of schools in my hometown. I have been teatching a third grade togheter with the most splendid and talanted teatcher, Linda. This card is for her since our paths are dividing. Feels a bit sad I must say, I have learnt so much from her and we have had great fun with our class. She really LOVES blue so of course the card had to be mostly blue ;) I used some of the amazing dp´s from Maja Designs latest collection: "Vintage summer basics". I likey, likey!
This cute to the boot Tilda was part of the "Summer memories" collection by Magnolia. So is that gorgeoues die I have been using in the upper right corner! I bought them both at the Magnolia store in Borås. We just HAPPENED to swing by there when we were on our weekend in Gothenborg. ;) Ha,ha,ha! NOT at all planned by sneaky me ;)
I also bought the heart tag there but it was not part of this collection so I can´t really say which one...
The sentiment is also Magnolia as is beautiful blue lily flowers and the lace. (I might just have bought the whole store ;)) The small cute bows and the cherry blossoms are from WOC. Tilda is inked with di´s on 300 g watercolorpaper. Alphabeth stickers from Making memories and the edger punch is from MS. Charms and bling from Panduro Hobby. As always I have sewn around the edges, placed some stickles star dust on various places on Tilda and added some di crackle paint picket fence for a more shabby end result :) I hope you like what I made Linda, I´m very happy with it myself :)

I´d like to enter the following challenges with my card:

Magnolia Stamp lovers: Square cards

Do not forget to head on over to the MDUC blog to see the more than stunning creations made by my awesome teamies! You´re in for some serious inspiration!

Thank you so much for checking in with me again today!
I know I´m not such a great blogging friend at the moment and hardly visits you back ;) I have had my daughter at home with me a lot last week, but I´ll better myself again, it´s a promise ;)
Big hugs xXx

Pretty CAS

We went on a splendid weekend getaway and arrived home this monday. We have been planning it for quite some time and the point was to let Signe decide everything we did since we are not sure we will get a chance of going somewhere special this summer. It won´t be a week in Turkey (which we´d all love to do! ;)) for sure since little sister arrives in mid july. So we packed some small suitcases and travelled to Gothenborg which is Swedens second largest city. She wanted to pay Liseberg a visit, it´s a huge very child friendly amusementpark and we also had a marvelleous day at the beach! The weather has been so amazing here last week, unfourtunately it´s supposed to rain all of this week :(
Signe really LOVES to go to the beach, or now that I think of it, she really loves a bath - anywhere ;) I have recently descovered an app for my phone called instagram and I must say, I´m so into taking pics again now. I especially love the two I have used on this lo I made when we came back on monday. Signe is truly enjoying the sand and beach and they are both shot´s of beautiful moments.
I feel the result is quite CAS and it only took me 35 min to put togheter. That´s surely a diffrence from my cards where I can sit on and off for three days sometimes ;)

It says Our bathgirl. The patterned paper (only one?!!) is from Magnolia. Both alphabeths are from Thickers. Metal butterfly and key from Pink paislee. Flowers from WOC and Prima (of course ;))

Hope your weekend was as great as mine! Did you know Sweden won the Eurovision song contest this year? We were represented by beautiful Loreen and I can´t help but share her song:

Yeah, we won! I´m hoping my city, Malmoe will get to be the arranging city next year :)

Thank you so much for looking in!
Big hugs xXx

MDUC: Make your own embellishment

Hi everyone!

A new challenge is going live tonight over at Magnolia down under and I must admit I thought it was going to be somewhat of a toughie ;) Let me tell you all about it: we want you to really get your creative juices flowing and make an embellishment of your own and add it to your creation. If you pop on over to the challenge blog we have listed some nice options if you like me struggle a tad bit ;) That´s also where you NEED to go to see the stunning creations my teamies has made for this week! Don´t miss out!

However! This challenge was just what I needed :) I can use some help every now and then to think outside the box. One of the things you can chose to make is a handmade flower of some sort. Since we are soon expecting another little family member I have been going through all of the stuff we have left since Signe was a baby. I´m separating the still wants from the to throw aways and am doing loads of laundry. One of the things that ended up in the throw away pile was a bed sheet that I have no idea as to why we kept because it was filled with stains and spots that can´t be washed off. Between it landing in the throw away pile and it leaving my picky hands I got an idea as to what I wanted to make! I saved a piece of the fabric and used some medium on it that is used for strenghtening shirt collars to try to gain some stability. It worked great so I simply used my scissors and cut out a bigger shape that I liked. To finish off my flower I used a punch from Nellie Snellen that makes etches in paper to try it on my flower of fabric. Worked like a charm! So now that I knew it was doable I chose a piece of the bedlinen that was colored in both pink and yellow and redid it all again. So that flower was the start of my whole card this week, at least the colorscheme I chose to work with. Intressting way to start off!

Besides this flower I have used a charm, pearls, shabby chic frame from MF, sentimentstamp, scene stamp and Tilda stamp that I bought at the Magnolia store in Borås. The sentiment is stamped with di color Vintage photo onto Wellum (a lovely idea I once saw on a card that my cute friend Lillemor from Lillemors Magnolior had done on her creation) The rest of the flowers are from WOC and as always my stamps are colored with di´s on 300 g watercolorpaper. The card is folded into what my teamie at MDUC, dear Denise calls an easel step card. At least thats where I saw it first. Love those! All edges are sewn and has been smuttred with di crackle paint picket fence :)

Today has been a busy, busy day ;) Our little daughter turns five on tuesday and she has celebrated today togheter with her cute, cute friends! This year we were not at home, we decided to leave it up to someone else to plan and organise everything and Signe wanted the peeps at Leos indoorplayland to arrange it all. So that was the way the cookie crumbled. She chose the jungle room where the lighting was a bit off but I just have to show you this cute picture of our little birthday girl! I feel rediciously proud of the little girl she´s growing into. She is sooo good!

Thank you all so much for checking in with me!
Big hugs!

Ahoy Tilda!

I had another play with my new Magnolia stamps this morning. This time it´s Ahoy Tilda´s turn to see some ink. I think she is really cute! And well, what do you know? Can you see any pink on this creation?? :o I don´t think so! I went totally outside my comfort zone on this one and I´m not totally happy about the end result but I think that can happen when you take "risks" like these ;) God knows, I felt like adding some pink somewhere on there! ;)

For that nautical feeling I chose to work with some dp´s from Maja Design that came out last summer. The big beautiful white flowers is a gift from my amazing friend, Jane. Thank you hunni! While on the gift subject the lush nautical blue ribbon is a gift from another cute friend, Alberto. Thank you Alby, lurv it!
The anker charm was purchased at the Maggie store in Borås as is the lovely lace. As promised yesterday I decided to use cheesecloth on this card as well ;) The blue roses are all WOC. Tilda is inked with di´s as usual.

I´d like to enter my card in the current sketch challenge over at one of my fav blogs, CLP challenges. The sketch for May is amazing and looks like this:

Have to go now, I have been adviced by my doctor to take some slow and short walks during these last few weeks that is left of my pregnancy. I was asked yesterday how long that is and as if today I have ten weeks left! OMG, I can´t wait to hold that little baby in my arms. Okay, I´m off!
Big hugs

Thank you so much for visiting me!

Whimsical Tilda

Welcome everybody!

I want to start todays posting with a HUGE thank you from the bottom of my heart to everybody that still comes in here to take a lookie look everynow and then. :) Of course a special thanks goes to my wonderful friends that still bears with me and leaves some love before you head off. It really does mean the world to me, I´m so grateful you haven´t forgotten all about me while I have been dealing with renovations and preparations due to the new little baby.
I think I´m finally getting a hold of things again and might I say I´m so happy that I´m visiting you lovelies on a more regular schedule too ;) To look at your stunning creations is what has made me finally not give up on my crafting.

Well, enough of me rambling on..and on to todays card. I have inked up another one of the Tildas from Magnolias collection "Summer memories". Dear God, I have been selling a lot of my old Magnolias because I simply can´t store them and then I have simply fell in love with so many of the once from the recent collections I bought so many I can´t even see that I have sold some ;) He,he,he!
She is inked with di´s as usual on 300 g watercolorpaper. She has been given a splash of Stickles Star dust on various places and of course some cute little earrings. ;) The papers are from an old Pion design collection called "Minnenas Ateljé". Love those! It´s not often I dress miss Tilda up in lilacs but I had to try it this time. And those of you whom knows me well can see I also had to add my fav color which is piiiiinnnnkkk! For the first time ever I have finally gotten around to try some of that cheese cloth thingy all of you are already using and I fell hard in love. Prepare to get tired of seeing that here ;) All flowers are WOC and the alphabeth stickers are both Basic Grey and Making memories (Making memories is in the frame) Frame from Melissa Frances and the lovely bow and lace both comes from the Maggie store in Borås. Pearls are bought at my local scrap store.

I´d like to join the following lovely challenges with my card:

Magnolia stamp lovers: where one of my sweet former teamies, Lim (on DOC) asks us to ink a Tilda or Edwin with flowers in the hands.

Just Magnolia: Anything goes with the options of pearls and swearls.

Midweek Magnolias: Add flowers to your creation

So what do you think? Isn´t she adorable?
Thank´s for taking the time to check up on me!
See you at your blogs! Hugs xXx

MDUC More than one fold: Card for my mother on Mothers Day ♥

Today it´s time for another challenge over at MDUC :) Yay!
This time we would have loved to see you create something that includes MORE THAN ONE FOLD. So basicly something other that just the "usual" 6*6 inch cards. I´m looking to get inspired by a lot of diffrent folds this upcoming week especially since I feel a bit stuck. I usually end up choosing a easel, twisted easel, criss cross or just the plain ones. ;)

For instance for this one I made a twisted easelcard ;)
I used one of the new images from the just now released stamp collection from Magnolia called "Summer Memories". I think she is so cool walking along looking like a real lady in those platform shoes! And the dog is so cute tagging along with that swag going on ;)
The papers are from a paper pad called Lost and found - Marker street from My minds eye that I found on sale!! at a scrapfair I visited late march outside of Helsingborg.
Once again I have used a PATP set from Martha Stewart for the edges. All flowers are from WOC. The corner die is from QK. All sentiments are also from Magnolia. The circular one I stamped on the bottom part says: The worlds best mummy. Thought that would suit very well since this ended up being this years Mothers day card from me. The stamp in the backround "Boutique" is also from Magnolia. All edges has been sewn as usual and I have added lot´s of pearls from Panduro Hobby. The ribbon is bought at the Magnolia store in Borås. All images is coloured with di´s on 300 g watercolorpaper. If I missed anything please don´t hesitate to send me an email and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Before I go I want to encourage you not to miss out on joining in this week! Head on over to the MDUC challenge blog to take a look at the marvelleous creations my teamies made this week :)
I also want to join in on some other challenges with this card, here they are:

The sketchy challenges want´s us to create something using their amazing sketch:

Sketchy colors want´s us to create using the colors mint, pink and white. It also says you can add another color of your choice but it may not be dominant. I´ll let them decide if they think I used to much brown on mine ;) Close call I think myself ;)

Before I head off to bed I just have to share this picture of my very soon to be five year old daghter - she looks so cool doesn´t she? A bit like Tilda on the town ha? ;)

Thank you so much for looking!
Hugs xXx
