MDUC # 131: Edwin only

Let me start by writing saying a big HUGE thank you to all of you amazing blogreaders that left me some words after my last posting. It means so much, probably more than you know. ;)
As you can tell my crafting mojo is long away from what it used to be but my hoping it will come back soon.

Welcome to a new challenge with us ladies at Magnolia Down Under. This week we want to see ou create something only using cute to the boot Edwin! There are so many gorgeous Edwins so pick one and join in.

I made a twisted easel card. It is so hard to take decent photos here in Sweden during winter. It´s actually dark as I leave for work and also when I get home again so the picks aint the best. Sorry!
It´s a valentine card and as usual I have inked Edwin with DI´s on 300g watercolourpaper. The patterned papers are Prima´s Romantique collection from earlier this fall.

MDUC #129: Magnolias in only B&W

Good evening everybody! 

I´m here to tell you all about our exiting new challenge over at Magnolia Down Under. This week we would love to see you create a projec in whichever colour you prefer but your Magnolia image of choice may only be coloured in black and white. This was my very first attempt and I´m kinda satisfied ;) To tell you the truth I started sweating just a little bit at the sight of this theme but I must say I truly had loads of fun! I´ll definately do this again.

Top 10...eh...top 15 2011

Hi everybody! 

First of all I want to THANK ALL OF YOU that are still visiting me although I haven´t updated with something new in quite some time now. In my last post I wrote about me talking a break. And let me tell you I´m still not ready for my comeback yet but at least I can let you guys know what´s keeping me away ;) 

Me and hubby are expecting a baby during summer 2012! We are of course very happy! 

Unfourtunately I feel very tired and ill but I´m hoping I will feel a lot better soon.

This means I have resigned from two of my dt positions, both Little Darlings and Anonyme Scrappere. I´m on a break from Deep Ocean and MDUC. Hopefully they will let me back on when I´m ready ;) 

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR VISITING and leaving so many nice and encouraging words for me

Blogging break

Hi everybody!

I have decided to take a break for a while. Since I started working again I don´t have even the slightest indication of a crafting mojo. I´m so busy taking care of my family when I´m not at work.
I feel great though, so no need to worry about me ;)

Deep Ocean Challenge: Letter C

Time for an all new challenge at Deep Ocean challenges today and we would like to see you create something with the letter C in mind. 

I chose to make a tag. I find them pretty quick to make when I feel a bit stressed out and still wish to play.

I have been making so many christmas cards lately and although I truly adore the latest christmas maggies I felt like making something totally diffrent and the result is a card for a little princess. 

I used my all time favorite stamp at least from the Fairytale collection. (I have so many ;)) 

She is inked with di´s on 300 g watercolour papers. I added loads of stickles star dust on to her on various places. The circular sentiments are part of a set from Lily of the valley. The big pink flowers is from Prima and the lily´s are by Magnolia. I also added a pearl swearl from Prima. The lace is bought at the Magnolia store in Borås as is the papers by My minds eye "Lost and Found".

Fathers day

Today we are celebrating our fathers here in Sweden and I made this card for my dad. 

I think this is my favorite Edwin ever, he is so cute and at the same time very determined. Don´t you think? I can´t help thinking he looks like my father when he is waiting for me and my mum whilst we are doing one of our ordinary shopping streaks. Oh, but come on! ;) 

Luckily this card fits right into this weeks challenge at TOMIC (The Offical Magnolia Inspiration Challenge). They would like us to create a card featuring Edwin and use a marvelloues sketch by dt member Tina. I love it, here´s what it looks like: 

Thank you ladies, I had heaps of fun with it, it´s a keeper :) 

My dad is also very into cars so it feelt like a great idea to mask Edwin with the glorious looking Magnolia car. The images are both coloured with di´s on 300 g watercolour paper. The sentiment is one of the cutest I have and I find it so useful time and time again. It´s part of a set from Lily of the valley. I have sewn and distressed all edges with Vintage photo. All the flowers are from WOC and the papers are from Kaiser Kraft. The paper pad is called Vintage Timeless. Lace is from the Magnolia store in Borås. Alphabeth stickers from Making Memories.

Anonyme scrappere: Vintage christmas

Time for a new challenge over at Anonyme Scrappere today :) 

This time our theme is VINTAGE CHRISTMAS and we would be thrilled to see you join us. Please head on over to the challenge blog to take a look at the beyond gorgeous creations made by my lovely teamies. 

I have made a stair step card with Magnolia products. This darling Tilda was part of last years christmas collection. I coloured her with my di´s and then I added stickles to various parts of her hat and jacket. She is  on her way back to her house after chosing a christmas tree in the woods. The trees are diecuts also from Magnolia. I have painted the trees with distess crackle paint picket fence and then added som faux snow from Panduro. I also added that around Tildas boots. Besides this I have used papers from Pion Designs christmas collection called "Waiting for Santa II". I love them! They are the reason I´m actually not making one chrissy card this year without any red!! YAY! The beautiful text is from a die cut sheet also from Pion and it´s about Christmas and Santa Claus in swedish. 

I had so much fun makin this card! Hope you like it as much as I do.
