dt Magnolia Down Under #107: BINGO!

Can you all guess what I did this thursday? I don´t think you can? ;)
In the wee early of this month me and a friend went to Borås to visit the Magnolia store and I had so much fun and shopped loads of great and of course very neccessary stuff! A while ago another friend, Petra asked if anyone would like to come with her. Hm? I didn´t think for a second ;) I said YES immediately ;) All of a sudden we had a car fully loaded with gals in for some serious shopping! Christina, Anna and Petra: thank you so much for your company on this amazing roadtrip - I had sooo much fun! We will have to do that again :)
I have promised myself not to buy anything craft related for three months now! Argh! How will I survive ;) Well..I started thinking it through and decided to make two big exeptions - Copics and Spellbinders Grand Calibur and two small ones: glue and cardstock. I always seem to need those..
And I definately need a E00 sketch marker too :) And while we are on that subject I´d like some tips from you Copics ladies on which colours I can use for skin. Now I´m using RV 21 for blush on the cheeks, E 11, E 00 (one that I bought wrong - it´s an original marker..:)  and E 000. I want one darker than E11. Thank you soo much in advance.

Oh, boy! I´m rambling on and on today!  Back to the reason I´m posting tonight ;)
IT IS TIME FOR ANOTHER challenge with us ladies at Magnolia Down Under :) Yay!
I´m so exited about this one because I have never been on a team that has arranged one like this: Let´s play BINGO!! Pick a line down below:

I went for the FLOWERS PEARLS and LACE one.

I made this tent card featuring this darling Tilda that is new to me. She was part of a collection of last year but I didn´t fancy her then? What was I thinking? :o I LOVE HER! too...;)
The patterned papers are from Pion design´s collection "Minnenas ateljé". Tilda is coloured with my di´s on 300g watercolour paper. The little chipboard butterfly is a gift from my friend Kylie. Thank hunny, I love it :) I added some lace I bought at the Maggie store undernieth the frame I made using my Spellbinder dies. The charm is also from the Maggie store.
I also have to tell you about the sentiment! One of my friends, Linda, is the lush designer behind a set of lovely sayings. Both in english and swedish :) I can´t find a link showing them because they are sold out. They´re so versitale and there is always a sentiment that fit´s each card on there ;)
I´m sure you can contact Linda for more information :)

PLEASE, don´t forget to check out the beautiful work by my lovely teamies here. You won´t regret it! :)
We would be so happy if you´d join us :)

Added loads of Stickles star dust to her wing things and bubbles.

  3. Good Morning! lol. It always happens doesn't it, you go to bed late and of course the kids get up early! We were woken by the boys racing down the hall way into our bed - so so cute! It has to be the best way ever to wake up doesn't it?
I looooove your card! I have a fondness for this Tilda gorgeous. The colours are beautiful. I had to laugh - not buying new crafting stuff? lol. Its unheard of! Good luck with that Hunny ;)
I agree with Jill and her copic colours above :) If you want some extra depth, you can start with E23 then E21, 00, 0000, just for something a little different. It tends to look a bit more like DI colours. For cheeks lately I've been using R 21 and R 00 to blend that out so there isn't a little cirle thing happening.
Well.. I spose its time for you to go to bed now? Have a good sleep gorgeous! Chat soon,
    Hugs xx

    Kram

  5. Hiya Louise
Your card like always is stunning. I love how your cards all feel so soft and fresh.
I use for skin E00, E21, E11 & R20 with a bit of R11. Just play with what you have got and see how it goes.

  11. Woww that is a gorgeous card Louise! I use E13, E11 and E00 for the face and R20 for the cheeks. Hope it helps.

  13. Wowza Louise! This is just too pretty girlie! Love the shells you added!!!
Sounds like you had a blast at the Magnolia store! So now you are going on a no spending diet? haha! Good luck!
I sometimes use E13 (very sparingly) for a tiny bit more depth. It is harsh though and a bit like the Vintage Photo in di's, so be careful! I use the R20 for cheeks just because I don't have R21 and I think I need to purchase it haha! You are doing such a great job with them!!
    Have a great Sunday!!!
    Hugs sweetie! Dena

  14. Sweetie, this is just stunning, loving your colour chocie too, perfick hugs pops x

  15. Ooooh, this is gorgeous as always Louise! I don't know that my will power could withstand not buying crafting things for 3 whole months- so I'm sending good luck wishes your way :) After reading the other comments on the skin colors I agree- I usually use E000, E00 and E11 but for greater contrast I do sometimes throw in both E13 for dark and E0000 for light. I use two different colors for the cheeks depending on how rosy I want them- R20 for light and R32 when I want it to show a little more- you just have to spend more time blending the edges. Can't wait to see more of your Copic coloring- it's so fun to see how everyone grows with them. Hugs!
    xx Katie

Your card is so romantic..., love the colors, lace behind image and the shells! They remember me, at our vacation in Norway where my girls found a lot of beautiful shells in the sea...
Have a great new week, hugs

  19. Hey Louise, your Tilda is so gorgeous, I love this one too!! Your card is beautiful, the flowers and lace are gorgeous too!! I use E0000, E00, E11 and R20 for my skin colours... I also go over my R20 with the E00 to get rid of the circle look, just to make it look a little softer, doesn't always work but it's the thought that counts right?? LOL
    Lots of Cuddles
