dt Little Darling challenges #5: Back to school

Time for my first posting as a dt for Little Darling challenges and I´m so exited and proud :)

Our theme this week is BACK TO SCHOOL and we would love to see you join us!

I used papers from Sassafrass lass togheter with red and lightyellow cs. The image is coloured with my Copics.

dt Tickled pink stamps: Introducing Lil Pinkette Halloweenie Fairy Coraline

Some of you might know that we are in the middle of another smashing prewiev week at Tickled pink stamps. We are soooo exited about this new release, it´s filled with cool AND cute Halloween stamps. This month the prewievs are combined so you will wee both stamps from the Lil Lolita and Lil Lads range and Lil Pinkettes range!

Today it´s my turn to show you what stunning Coraline looks like in her halloween costume, she is dressed up to be a fairy, cute ha?!

I paired her up with some Magnolia patterned papers from the So Spooky collection. The spiderweb is made with a PATP set from MS. The flowers are from Magnolia and WOC. Added loads of stickles to the image. I wanted to make her look very halloweenie so I didn´t put blush on her cheeks, she looks so pale which added to the spooky feeling don´t you think?

dt Whiff of joy challenges #110: Buttons & Bows + dt call

Time for another Whiff of joy challenge this fortnight :)

And as the title tells you we´d like to see you create something featuring a Whiff of joy stamp and then add both buttons and bows to it!

I bought a new die from Tim Holtz last week and it cuts out this tag. LOVE IT!

Can you guess which medium I used on the ubercute Henri celebrating mouse? Yes you guessed right, it´s my second image I post using my Copics. :) Oh, I tell you guys, I have fallen hard, like a rock ;) They´re so much fun! And it´s even more fun using this amazing cardstock from Make it crafty. It was included in happy mail I recieved from my treasured friend Kylie, thank you soooo much hunny! I love it!

I also want to tell you that I have made the desicion to step down from my dt post at WOJ challenges. I will be leaving with the next challenge. I feel a little sad, I have had the honor of being part of this gorgeous gang a year :) Because so many of the dt members are leaving,  our lovely team leader Jane is hosting a DT CALL with this challenge. All you have to do is add DT after your link when you take part of this challenge.

So I encourage you to take part, add dt after linking and maybe it is you whom will be part of this gorgeous team in the future.

I´m a Little darling

Some of you might have read about me having a secret on Facebook today!
I had planned on holding on to it a little longer, at least until I had my first card ready but I just can´t...;)
So here I go:
I got an email this weekend that made me very happy :) :)
The woman who sent it is one of the crafters I admire the most in all of blogland and her name is Mindy. She was wondering if I´d consider being a full time designer for Love to stamp, the online store that holds the very cute stampbrand Little darlings. The brand is owned by another very talanted crafter namely Angie.
Apart from my other dt bosses (that are located around the globe) I have actually had the pleasure of meeting Angie IRL at the Maggie store where she showed the visitors at the grand reopening how she colours with di´s. Let me tell you, the result was gorgeous! I´m sooo exited to be part of this amazing team. Mindy and Angie are of course acompanied by other stunning dt members as well and it´s going to be an honor working alongside them as well :) They are: Angela , Janiel, Lena-Katrine, Myrna and Ruby

I can´t wait to get started :) Doing the happy dance ;)

dt Deep Ocean challenges #5: Sea

Time for another challenge over at Deep Ocean this fortnight :)
I´ve been looking forward to this one ever since TOMIC had their sea themed one. Unfortounately I didn´t have time to join in then but I´ve been longing to put some of these Magnolia stamps to good use. :) Feels good! And can you see what I did? I put on some red details...I promised you I wouldn´t make something red til christmas so I´m quite chocked my self. (For those of you that doesn´t know I consider myself one of those that really should stay of red because it never turns out to my satisfaction ;) I love to see red details in your blogs though!)) It all started out with that lifebuoy ;) I mean let´s face it, they are usually red and white right? LOL

I have used four Magnolia stamps and I don´t think either one is from the same collection. They´re gorgeous though. I have tried to make a net for the sea horse and placed some seashells inside it. The "bubbles" was part of a blogcandy I won from my fabby friend, Chelsea. Thank you hunny :)
The red flower is from Prima, the blue lilys from Magnolia and the light yellow cherrie flowers are WOC.
The charm comes from the Maggie store in Borås. The cake doily is also from the Maggie store. Sentiment from WOJ.

dt Magnolia Down Under #107: BINGO!

Can you all guess what I did this thursday? I don´t think you can? ;)

In the wee early of this month me and a friend went to Borås to visit the Magnolia store and I had so much fun and shopped loads of great and of course very neccessary stuff! A while ago another friend, Petra asked if anyone would like to come with her. Hm? I didn´t think for a second ;) I said YES immediately ;) All of a sudden we had a car fully loaded with gals in for some serious shopping! Christina, Anna and Petra: thank you so much for your company on this amazing roadtrip - I had sooo much fun! We will have to do that again :)

I have promised myself not to buy anything craft related for three months now! Argh! How will I survive ;) Well..I started thinking it through and decided to make two big exeptions - Copics and Spellbinders Grand Calibur and two small ones: glue and cardstock. I always seem to need those..

And I definately need a E00 sketch marker too :) And while we are on that subject I´d like some tips from you Copics ladies on which colours I can use for skin. Now I´m using RV 21 for blush on the cheeks, E 11, E 00 (one that I bought wrong - it´s an original marker..:)  and E 000. I want one darker than E11. Thank you soo much in advance.

Oh, boy! I´m rambling on and on today!  Back to the reason I´m posting tonight ;)

I went for the FLOWERS PEARLS and LACE one.

I made this tent card featuring this darling Tilda that is new to me. She was part of a collection of last year but I didn´t fancy her then? What was I thinking? :o I LOVE HER! too...;)

The patterned papers are from Pion design´s collection "Minnenas ateljé". Tilda is coloured with my di´s on 300g watercolour paper. The little chipboard butterfly is a gift from my friend Kylie. Thank hunny, I love it :) I added some lace I bought at the Maggie store undernieth the frame I made using my Spellbinder dies. The charm is also from the Maggie store.

I also have to tell you about the sentiment! One of my friends, Linda, is the lush designer behind a set of lovely sayings. Both in english and swedish :) I can´t find a link showing them because they are sold out. They´re so versitale and there is always a sentiment that fit´s each card on there ;)

When I started out with this hobby two years ago I could never have imagined I would get to know so many kind and warmhearted friends :)
In this post I want to share with you my sincere thanks to all of you for showing such great support and leaving such loving comments on the first card I mdmade with my Copics :) I'm overwhelmed! I'm very grateful for all of the tips and tricks too :)

Meet Lil Little Lolita Lilith - with COPICS!!

OMG!! I´m sooo not sure about doing this or not...;)

But sometimes you got to risk a little bit..and put yourself out there but guys: PLEASE be gentle! ♥

So...some of you know that I bought my first Copic markers in may/june and that I´ve been practising a bit every now and then when time has allowed me. It turned out to be so much harder than I thought it would be! I think the technique is quite different than colouring with my di´s. I´m still not happy with my end results and now I´m considering actually taking a course..I think it´s more easy achieving a good result when you have loads of colours to choose from, I´m going to have to get my self some more..How sad ;) LOL!

Anyways now I decided to go ahead and publish this card..or should I. I guess we will all know in a while ;)

I´m showcasing a little lass with loads of attitude today!  She is named Lil Little Lotita Lilith and is part of the latest release by Tickled pink stamps.

She is so cool, don´t you think? That umbrella is rocking, I want one!

The patterned papers are from Panduro and the big pink rose is from Prima, the small ones are WOC. The beautiful sentiment is also from TPS and was part of a release earlier this spring.

I had great fun following this weeks sketch by the talanted ladies over at Sketch Saturday.

Om någon vän i bloggland kan hjälpa mig vore jag väldigt tacksam..jag har lyckats slita ut min älskade bugga och önskar därför köpa en Spellbinders Grand Calibur istället.
