Tis the season to be jolly!

Hi there friends and followers!
Today I want to show you my winter wonderland card for Live and Love Crafts and its also my dt card for Magnolia Down Under where we posted a new theme last night and that is FLOWERS.
I used some winter alike kind off frosty flowers me thinks to suit both themes. ;)

The lovely dp´s are by Pion design and I´ve used two for my card. They are from a 6*6 paper named Blue Pansy. Im such a sucker for anything Pion, if you´re in the market for shabby papers, look no further ;) The stamped image is a Magnolia Tilda from an old christmas collections and she´s inked with  di ink from pads , which is currently on a reduced price in the LLC store. Ive used Pumice stone, Weathered wood, Vintage photo, Black soot, Walnut stain and Tumbled glass for her clothes and shoes. The skin is colored with Tattered rose and Vintage photo. For the cheeks I used a hunch of Spun sugar, Worn lipstick and barn door. The shadows behind Tilda is Tattered rose and Vintage photo. You can see it fairly well in my picture below:

To embellish my card I choose to work with white jute ribbonThe lovely lace is named Jolie and is placed on top of the jute. You can also see one of the ever soooo cute Vintage wood mini sewing spools. I was ecstatic to find those in my dt pack ;)
Besides that I have sewn all edges and also used Crackle paint Picket fence a little here and there and also on the acetate I added to the spool. The alphabet stickers are by Prima. The flower is a Kort og godt rolled rose in creme

The big lush flower is a gardenia in creme that I placed together with some more rolled roses and the Kort og godt decoration berries.

I made a tag using a heart spellbinder that I added some Vanilla cream shabby seam binding and Jute twine too. Look at the gorge love hanger and the charm named round vintage photo frame pendant. However I didn't add a photo to it, instead I chose to cut out one of the roses from a white organza rose trim

Hey, do not forget to head on over to the LLC inspiration blog to check out what my teamies have done with this theme earlier this week. And of course you wouldn't want to miss out on the lovely creations over at the MDUC blog.

Lots of love

With all my love

Hi there friends and followers!
Today its my turn to showcase this weeks card in the Live and love crafts blog. I will be doing the same every sunday, Im hoping you will hop along on my journey together with Live and love crafts .

This week us ladies in the dt are creating something with christmas leftovers in mind. I have promised myself to make at least two christmas cards each month but Im not quit ready to start just yet cause Im still a bit tired of them ;) I made a valentines card that is actually for a very special friend in blogland that is celebrating her birthday in january. I have once again put my Silhouette Cameo to good use and this time I chose to make a tag pocket card. So fast and easy to fold! Im loving it!
So now I got you thinking: wheres the christmas leftover on this? Well, the dp´s are from Maja designs collection Its christmas time 12*12 and Ive used two sheets, the back of Santa and the tree and also The perfect gift. I think they are amazing because they are so versatile. Looking at them like this I bet you couldn't have guessed they were christmas leftovers, ha? ;) Here´s a closer look at the pocket itself:

The image is from Magnolias latest collection and I think she´s just adorable! She is colored with my di´s as usual, mostly using these ink pads: antique linen, tattered rose, vintage photo, weathered wood, pumice stone and walnut stain. The sentiment is also a Magnolia and reads With all my love. I love the amazing rhinestone lace, its available in three colors and I chose Heather pink. The shabby seam binding are also a new fav of mine. I added it to the MF tag and my own tag in ash rose and vanilla cream. Underneath the image I place a round doilycheese cloth and a piece of jute fabric. The flowers are white poppies and a Hortensia Petal pink

As you can see I have also stamped a love sentiment around the edges of the spellbinder and then embossed it with white embossing powder. Besides that I have also added some white pearl string around the same. You get a glance of the amazingly shabby bark heart here as well. You can see it even better here:

I wanted to make it look even more shabby and to do that I added some distress crackle paint in white.

The sentiment on the tag reads You are so sweet and is also a Magnolia. (it´s on sale, hurry up!! ;))

Look at that amazing vintage button! It was so up my ally ;) I have some more close up for you to look at if you'd like :) In this picture you can also glance an amazing metal decoration that I also added to the seam binding, the Prima velvet Trinkets

Thanks for checking in with me today!
I´d be happy if you had the time to write me some words!
Lots of love

DOC: My crafty space

Good evening everybody!

Welcome back to my place, and my first dt post for Deep Ocean challenges in 2013! Im so happy to learn you are still with me ;)

This first challenge is a very special and fun one me thinks, I dont even know if it qualifies into the category of challenge. He, he, he!
We are so exited to give you a little tour of our crafty spaces. I used to have my own little room but as some of yo might know I had to switch rooms for my gear as Ella needed her own space too.
Besides this open space I have to closets I will show you later on. Hop on the tour bus ;)

This photo actually shows all of my workspace. Yes, its kind off small, I know. I bought all the furniture in a swedish very famous furniture store named IKEA. They are all over the world so you might have been in one ;) What I love about them is its so cheap! You end up ruining the desks anyway with glue stains, and tears all over from  moving gear around so I don't think its necessary to buy some expensive furniture. I have also change my desks and the rest of the gear twice already and I have only done this for four years...Let me show you some more detailed pictures.

At this little side desk I store my sewing machine and my Silhouette Cameo. I love them both dearly and really believe I couldn't cope without them. As you can see I have also bought a few shelfs at IKEA (called LACK) and Im using them to store all the inspiration I have been lucky enough to receive from all over the world. Most of it is for Ella when she was born but I will hold on to it til she gets big enough to treasure it herself.

This is my big desk, this is where in usually seated. Except for when I´m showing or cutting anything, thats of course when Im placed at the smaller desk ;) I have managed to get hold of the most amazing storage for my dearly loved di pads (and other pads of course) Its called a Porta Ink and I love it soooo much! Its not really very visible here. Its the black little spinner in the upper right corner. Heres a better picture for you:

(The picture is borrowed from the scrapstore I bought it at: Cili in papers)

To store my Copics which I haven't been sure I would keep or not I buy these  smart containers from Åhlens in my hometown, Malmoe. I dont know if theres any relevance to it but I have heard you do best if you store markers lying down??? Have no idea if thats right?? Maybe you know better?

I store my small embellies here in small containers that I bought from Panduro Hobby. Such as brads, pearls, pins, flowers soft, snow tex and buttons.

My inspirational shelf! Lots and lots of beauties.

My beloved sewing machine and my cameo

In this beautiful hanger I hang my designs to dry. I got it from a very dear friend for christmas! Thank you so much Debbie Dolphin! You are amazing!!

And now...hold on to something cause now we are going in the closets...

On one shelf I store my dies and my die cutter

Some punches

Sorry for the bad quality on this one, its so dark here now. :(
Rubberstamps

Flowers

So anyways...that was my crafty space...now Im dying to see yours!
If you have a link or is planning to write a post regarding this now and wants to leave some words for me pls include the link and I will run to see you ;)

Loads of hugs

Live and Love crafts Challenge: Something Old

Hi there lovely friends and followers!
Hope you're all enjoying the very first day of 2013!

I´d like to welcome you all to this my first posting as a very proud dt for Live and Love Crafts :) Im so exited to let you in on all the amazing things that the lovely store owner, Sandy  and her team invites us to join. One of those things is the LLC challenges  that runs monthly.
Our first theme of this year is to create a project with SOMETHING OLD in mind.

I made a valentines card and used an all new Tilda HOWEVER thats not very old like ha? So I finally put my new knowledge to the test that I learnt at the WS in Borås during the Magnolia event early october. The WS was taught by my lovely and very talented friend, Debbie Dolphin and was all about coloring in sepia. Something at least I think adds to that vintage / old feeling. I think the images reminds me of the old photographs I used to look at in my grandmothers albums. I was afraid I had forgotten most of her tips and tricks but no! I think it turned out pretty well.

I decided to use some of the amazingly beautiful dp´s from Pion Design´s collection of 6*6 papers Silent Night. Not very valentines like you might think but I for one think the Pion papers are very versatile and can be used whenever really. I also used cheese cloth and shabby seam-binding. I applied some of the adorable pearl string around the image and something I just cant seem to get enough of is the beautiful resin pieces and I decided to use a lock from the small lockbox appliqué set. Adds to that shabby feeling that I truly love :) The metal corners are actually in silver but I painted them with distress crackle paint Picket fence, which I have also applied a little here and there all over the card and the edges of all paper. I also used a princess crown charm, its underneath the seam binding. The flowers are rolled roses that I use all the time, can never have to many of those ;)
The heart is cut with a Magnolia Doo Hickey die called So wrapped lovely  and the big flower is also a Magnolia doo hickey called Doily flowers .  In the pictures below I have tried to take some detailed pics and will be showing them below:

Thank you so much for checking in with me today!
Hope to see you back here again in a few hours as we in Deep Ocean challenges also shares something really fun AND different today!
Hugs
