I´m guesting Sketch Saturday in june

I recieved an email some weeks ago from my gorgoues friend Jeanette asking me to be a guest dt over at one of my absolute fav challengeblogs, Sketch Saturday in june!! I´m so incredibly honored and it didn´t take me many milliseconds to say YES ;) I still have to pinch my arm now as I´m writing this ;) I´m so happy you asked me, Jeanette! A huge thank you from the bottom of my heart! ♥

I have finally recieved some of the new fabby stamps from Magnolias latest collection "Sweet Rainbow". I had to start off with this lovely Tilda in the garden. :) I made another one of those amazing cardboxes. I recieved a gift from another blogfriend, lovely Dena, a while back and she made a fantastic cardbox for me (click the link and you´ll see it ;)) and I was so inspired by all of that wonderfullness that I have no started making my own every now and then.

This one is made as a birthday gift for someone very special to me :) I don´t think it has arrived yet though so I won´t tell her name ;)

On request - for an ordaination ;) (Is that even a word?)

I´m here today to show you a card I made on request for one of my mum´s coworkers and I have to admit this was a bit of a struggle ;) We have all had them right?

I must say..I did´nt think this would be one of those though..But..since it was for a man whom is "graduating" as a priest. (I know I´m not making sense at all..this word was so hard to find a good translation for..:( Sorry! Hope you know wha I mean anyways ;)) I ran into obstacles both here and there. The cermony is held at Lunds Domkyrka, a very wellknown church from the 14th century and I wanted the image from Magnolia to serve as a recollection of that. So I inked in the same colors as this beautiful church but in combination with the "cold" papers I thought the card really needed some warmth. I had decided not to embellish to much..(Yeah, right lke that ever happens!! ;)) but I added some apricot flowers from Magnolia and then I just kind of went for it...Well, let´s hope my mums coworker is happy with this gatefold card anyway :) I think it turned out beautiful but let´s hope the priest is in toutch with his more...feminine side...

Is there even a word called ordainnation? There should be so I´m putting it in the dictonairy from now on ;)

DT Tickled pink stamps Lil Perfect Match: BLOGHOP

Welcome to the Tickled pink stamps BLOGHOP for the amazing Perfect Matches stamps that is released NOW!! I made a card with the ever so gorgoues Lil Perfect Match Lolita PirateLylah! I think she´s beyond cool! She´s got that fierce attitude and still she´s kind of cute ;) All wrappred up in one ;) She is the perfect match to another cool stamp: Lil Allsorts Pirate Frankie.

I placed her togheter with some fabby papers from Panduro Hobby (it´s been ages since I shopped something there) and a charm from Magnolia - of course it´s a pirate ship. The skull is actually a piece of grunge board from TH that I have painted with TH di´s crackle paint Picked fence. I mixed it up with some more cute accesories like the small bows and flowers and made it kind of "go" with the image.

A new challenge blog!

I recieved an email from my gorgoues friend Alby a couple of days ago asking me if I want to join the dt over at the new challengeblog called Deep ocean. I was so honored he thought about having me on the dt and it didn´t take long for me to accept. There will be a new challenge forthnightly and the only real rule is that you need to respect the theme for a challenge to join. Read more here. I particulary like the fact you can use any brand of stamps to join in!

We will be back with a challenge and more info on june 7th. Welcome back then but IF you want to you can register your self as a follower already :) We would love that! ♥

DT Tickled pink stamps Lil Perfect Match: Introducing Lil Lad 20´s Luca

It is my turn to introduce you to another one of the cool Lil Perfect Matches stamps that Kellie (the owner and founder) over at Tickled pink stamps is releasing to celebrate the Lil Lolitas and Lil Lads anniversary :) We are so exited about this since it first started out as a surprise and we are so proud of this supercool idea, the release is rocking! This is Lil Lad 20´s Luca and he is a perfect match to Lil Fashionette 20´s Evie. I used him on his own though. My hubby is having some of his friends over on saturday night for some poker playing - well, I´d like to think they will have time to grab some dinner too ;)

Made some really simple and easy napkin holders for their get togheter. They will prbably not look at them twice and I will probably find them all laying around in a corner somewhere when I get home but..now they´re able to grab napkins in style when they need to ;)

DT Whiff of joy challenges #105: Sketch by Manuela

I have made a birthday card featuring the amazing Melinda with bouquet from Whiff of joy (of course ;)) Got lot´s of birthdays coming up in june so..I´d better get working on the cards..;) He,he,he! She is inked with distress ink pads on 300 g watercolor paper. The patterned papers are from a swedish brand called Pion Design, the collection is called "Minnenas atealjé" = Studio of memories. I love their gotgoues papers and I hear there´s some new ones coming to stores soon. Yay!

Surprise!! Another stunning TPS release!

Yes! You read it right! Miss Kellie, the lovely and generous owner of Tickled pink stamps has had a BIG secret togheter with us {PINK} ladies for quite some time now and I´m so happy to finally being able to share it with you! ♥

We are celebrating big time :) To celebrate the anniversary of the Lil Lads and Lolitas we are doing an extra release called Perfect Matches. And I promise you they are exactly what they´re called :)

First up for preview is lovely Lil perfect match Christina and she is the perfect match for Lil Lad Eric. I think she´s adorable, I fell hard ;)

The sentiment is one of my absolute favorites and it is was released earlier this month. Beautiful saying that is really versitale, you can use it for just about anything ;) me thinks.

The images is colored with distress ink pads on 300 g watercolorpaper.

DT Magnolia Down Under Challenges #97: Christmas in may

Yay! Time for another challenge over at  MDUC again :)

This time we´d like you to create something with christmas in mind. So time to dig out those Maggie christmas stamps and dies and being creative with those :)

I had this matchbox laying around screaming for me to alter it! ;)

So said and done I added some cs and Magnolia patterned papers from last years "A merry little christmas" collection. And yes: good news! You are not in need of glasses! ;) I have ACTUALLY done something in red. I love red and I adore all of those red creations I see in my friends blogs but I´m a total loser at it! It´s the colour I dread working with the most. At the same time I also want to create something beautiful in red so I asked a friend over this past weekend and we had so much fun talking and crafting... Well..I´m ashamed but this altered matchbox is all I managed to put togheter in all of those hours! That´s what happens when I think about going with red...;) This time I´m actually happy with how it turned out in the end though and that feels good :) Don´t count on seeing something red in here before december ;) He,he,he!

Adorable ginger bread Tilda is coloured with distresser on 300 g watercolourpapers. Added lot´s of stickles star dust to her - as usual. Why break a trend that working for ya? ;)

The backside of the matchbox. I have used the pennents die from Whiff of joy and the fence die from Magnolia. The alphabeth stickers says: GOD JUL = MERRY CHRISTMAS. It´s a good thing both words are spelled with three letters in swedish ;)

Cardbox a la (the worlds best) Dena

A little while back a recieved the most gorgoues happy mail from the US and my very treasured friend, Dena. She made me a real stunner! (Well..everything she creates is frikkin stunning ;)) She calls it a card box. You can find the amazing box she made for me here. I can´t stop looking at it, feel so lucky to have it in my collection. Now I´m sending of a little something for somebody ;) and I want them to get the same feeling so I gave it a try ;) 

The gorgoues papers are from an older Maja Design collection called "Mina vänner"= my friends. Thought that suited just fine :) I have used my absolute fav stamp from Magnolia again called Hello Butterfly. It is part of the latest release. I hear there´s a new one coming soon! Can hardly wait ;) 

The box has a theme of butterflies, you can find it all over ;) 

I´m hoping my friend will treasure this a lot! Or at least like it ;) Maybe even love it a bit :)

Mini Tildas wishing a happy birthday!

I´m so sorry to have to bore all of you whom have already seen and commented on this card before ;)

As a lot of you, my darling friends, know Blogger has had some serious issues and for a lot of us that meant losing all posts that went live yesterday. This post is one like that. So.. here I go again ;)

I have a treasured friend in blogland that had a birthday recently but didn´t tell anyone. Its a good thing you can see it on Facebook ;) I´ve sent her this card today :) Maritha: just pretend you can´t read your name in the upper right corner ;) He,he,he! Act surprised when it comes knocking at your door ;)

This is the first ever card I have made using images from the Magnolia Mini World. These were actually a gift from another very dear friend of mine, Dena. Thank you so much hunny! ♥

I sincerilly doubt it that you have missed out on her gorgoues blog filled with superinspiring creations, but if you have you should really take a look now! 

I have created this card after a sketch I found at Mindys  place. It´s the second  from the top. Inspiring ha? I´ll definately use more of them, think they are awesome. :)

I adore this sentiment from Stempelglede. It is like Dr Phil, it says it like it is. The power of the mind and positive thinking is something that has become more and more important for me over the years.
